LGBT Wonder Gay Festival- Torremolinos: Monday 22 until Sunday 28 July. Gay themed beach and pool parties, drag shows and concerts at different locations in the town centre and on the Bajondillo Beach.
Last year’s festival attracted thousands of people from all over Spain and organisers are predicting that this year’s event will surpass all previous editions.
Ticket for the main events cost between 10 and 20 euros and can be purchased in advance from www.wondergayfestival.es or on the day of the event. A wristband that allows entry to all parties costs 55 euros. FB-Link
Exhibition of paintings and objects: In the first two weeks of August local artist Coby Bloemsma will be showing her latest works in the Sala Real 98 in Frigiliana. Its on Calle Real, the main street in Frigiliana, a few doors from the church.
The exhibition is called “Body Language” and consists not only of paintings in oils and acrylics of the human figure but also weird and wonderful objects made of wood, plastic or porcelain with collage effects. You will find more details on the above poster or contact Coby at
