Marbepop Festival: 12 hours of music and fun for the family this Saturday at the Arroyo de la Represa Park in Marbella. It’s a free event that will feature concerts, circus shows, magic, workshops, urban art and nature aimed at the entire family and runs from 1pm to 1am. Malaga band Jarrillo Lata plus another eight bands. Circus by La Banda del Otro and The Crazy Juggler Circus Show and a children’s stage with workshops and 3D cinema, food trucks and much more.

For Sale – Potted Irises: Healthy perennial plants producing multiple white flowers with delicate yellow beards on each stalkstem. The long stately leaves of these plants stay green the year round and are wonderful for filling in areas or for use in a border. They tolerate full sun and thrive in good, well drained soil. Easy to care for and will multiply by self-propagation, needing division only after a few years. The flowers themselves are very showy in a garden, but make a nice addition to a floral bouquet as cut flowers as well. Well established roots in a 6inch pot. Ready for planting now, or can be maintained in the pot till Spring.

Alicante floods: How to make a claim if you suffered damage.
Residents who were affected by floods in the worst storms to hit the region in 140 years can now make a claim for emergency funding. A pay out emergency claims of up to €4,500 to those who suffered damage. Emergency grants are available to residents who apply before October 14th at their local town hall. Successful applicants will receive an initial €1,500 which can rise to a maximum of €4,500.
