DoctorLaptop’s Computer Service Current Offers: All end 30Nov19.
-Upgrade your Windows 7 computer to Windows 10, €70. Your data is saved, all your 3rd party software is removed, all saved passwords will need to be re-entered. Some early Win 7 computers cannot be upgraded, or can only be upgraded to Windows 10 32-bit (not 64-bit). If it has a Pentium processor or was built before 2012 this may be the case.
-Update your Windows 10 v1803 computer to the current v1903 now before v19H2 comes out next month. If you fail to do this you may be unable to update to v19H2 directly thru the Windows Updater; it will then require you download a special updater tool from MS. I can do it overnight, €35.
-Add Linux to your Windows 7 computer. Keep your Win 7 for offline activities, use Linux for internet. You choose which system to boot when you power up (known as a “dual boot” setup). €50 to install most versions of Linux. I suggest a version of Linux called Zorin, it looks very much like Windows 7 and is very user friendly for most common online tasks like email, FB, Youtube, etc. https://zorinos.com/

Help hearing aids seem to be dying: Hi DigameXtra – My one and a half year old hearing aids, not the dangly ones, these live in my ear canal but they are NOT completely in-the-ear. Expensive ones, bought in the UK, manufactured by ReSound LINX 3D. No complaints until about 2 months ago when started to experience really weird interference, and the aid for my left ear conked out about a week ago. Please could someone help with address of local specialist repairer – hoping that I will not be directed to Malaga or further afield – would be fantastic if there was help available locally! Designer Outlet Update: The opening of the new Malaga Designer Outlet, near the airport, was called off this week. The British-owned addition to the existing Plaza Mayor shopping complex has been delayed while the promised access improvements are made to the MA-20, and it is hoped the official unveiling will now be in December.

Sunday Eucharist Services
Almuñécar
9.30 am – Capilla de Nuestra Señora del Carmen (The Fishermen’s Chapel). This small chapel is situated towards the western end of the beach and set back near the Chinasol Hotel and seafront. There is a Eucharist every Sunday from November through to March, and there is a Eucharist service on every alternative Sunday (1st and 3rd Sundays of the month in April, May, September and October). There are no services during the hot summer months of June, July and August.
Nerja
12.00 noon – Iglesia de San Miguel, Plaza Andalucía. There is a Eucharist service at this time throughout the year. The church is within easy walking distance of the first large roundabout as you drive into town from the Malaga direction, by the bus station.
