The new book ‘Suffer the Little Children’ will be available – a story of crime, suspense, intrigue and romance that takes place in Teesside and North Yorkshire in the exceptionally cold winter of 1946/7.
All the other books will be available, including various books of short stories of crime and mystery, set in Spain and worldwide. Some of these have been translated into Spanish and German.

– ‘Sedella’ which is a story of a Spanish village from prehistoric times to the present day, historical facts illustrated by fictional stories.

-Friday November 1st – The Centre will be closed for All Saints Day.
-Monday November 4th – Half Orange “Bring and Share” Lunch, widows, widowers and singles group. You are welcome to join us and make and meet new friends at the Centre. The group also meets on the other Mondays of the month for coffee, walks, visits to places of interest, etc. Time 13.00.
-Tuesday November 5th – U3A Photography Group. From “Good Shot” to “Great Shot”, why not come and improve your photography with Rob Bell Photography. A fun and informal group. Open to all, from beginners to the more experienced photographer, regardless of the type of camera and use. This season we will be looking at the various styles of photography and computer software with monthly themes and photo challenges. Don´t forget to bring your camera. Time 15.00 TO 17.00. 5 Euros for room fee or with Friends of Lux Mundi card 4 Euros.
-Monday November 11th – Spanish History Group. Time 11.00 to 13.00. 2 Euros for room fee.
-Wednesday November 13th – Fashion Show. – Please come and join friends in an afternoon of fun, when you will be able to see a wide range of quality new, second hand, clothes, shoes and accessories, modeled by friends of Lux Mundi. During the interval there will be refreshments, drinks and homemade cakes which you will be able to purchase. After the show there will be a chance to purchase the items modeled. Time 15.30 for 16.00. Ticket price 6 Euros for room fee or with Friends of Lux Mundi card 5 Euros, available at the Centre, limited number of seats.
