La Herradura Annual Underwater Photography Competition: The 2nd ‘Open de Fotografía y Vídeo submarino Bahía de La Herradura’ takes place this week, spotlighting the best of the region’s underwater photographers. The judging is Thursday thru Saturday to decide the best photographs and videos from underwater dive sites such as Punta de la Mona, the Marina del Este and La Herradura Bay.

Costa del Sol International Jazz Festival & Malaga Jazz Open: Now thru 11 Nov., Cervantes Theatre Malaga.
Acts include: Charles Lloyd, legendary jazz pianist Kenny Baron, Charles Tolliver, Ernesto Aurignac, Mexican drummer Antonio Sánchez and the final performance of the festival will be Andrea Motis.
Malaga Jazz Open is held concurrent with the International Jazz Festival. With the streets as the stage, crowds can gather in the symbolic squares as well as the main hotels, restaurants and bars making it a real tourist and cultural attraction.
This year Jazz Open extends to the barrios with ‘Jazz festival in your area’ allowing free concerts on your doorstep in places like Teatinos-University, Santa Ana Park – Finca La Palma, Virgen de las Cañas Park, Churriana among many others.

-Tuesday November 19th – Concert “All Aboard” by a Touch of Class. Please come and join friends to see the well known choir and Concert Company. The show is a parody based on a cruise “Trump of the seas”, the boat captain is loosely based on Donald Trump, and there is also a scene set in the nightclub on board and a talent show. Songs include Ballads and songs from the 60s and 70s to be held in the House of Culture in Fuengirola. All proceeds will go to Lux Mundi to help them continue with their valuable charity work. -Thursday November 21st – Coach Excursion to Gibraltar.
-Thursday November 28th – Excursion to Mijas Pueblo and Viveros Guzman. Join friends on a day trip, firstly to the beautiful little village of Mijas, at 400 metres above sea level, about 10km from the coast above Fuengirola. You can wander through the narrow cobbled streets and the gardens along the cliff, with panoramic views down the coast. You may purchase something at the many artisan shops and there will also be time for refreshments and lunch. At 15.30 you will join the coach for a short journey to visit the very large garden centre of Guzman, in Alhaurin del Torre. There you may purchase plants, shrubs and other items for your garden, interior decorations and gifts from the shop, and you will be able to admire the beautiful Christmas display, maybe purchasing your Christmas decorations. There is also a restaurant for refreshments. After the visit you will rejoin the coach at 17.30 for the homeward journey. Ticket price available at the Centre 16 Euros with Friends of Lux Mundi card 15 Euros. RANSOMWARE Returns To Spain: VIRAL Story DOMINATING The Spanish Tech and Business News Today.
