NIE Query

I have 2 questions.

Since first getting my NIE I have married so now with a new surname and I also have a new passport in my married name.

Do I need to update/ renew my NIE and if so what do I do?

The second question is re my husbands NIE. He cannot find the original although he does have a copy. Does he need to apply for another one and if so how.

I have been providing advice, service and repair of car air conditioning systems since 1998. I am happy to provide you with a free of charge check to ensure that your air conditioning system is working efficiently by testing the gas pressure to see if it has dropped. A drop in gas pressure will result in a loss of cooling efficiency which will make your engine work harder and in turn use more fuel.

My experience with car air conditioning means that I can deal with air conditioning faults and leak detection. I can find the specific problem and first try to repair it, rather than just going straight for expensive complete replacement.

I have experience in a diverse range of makes and models of car air conditioning systems, and I am able to solve problems in a fast and cost effective manner.

Air conditioning systems can be as useful in autumn and winter as they are in summer to quickly clear misting windscreens.

Air conditioning should be used regularly through the whole year to prevent leaks and prolong the life of the compressor and also avoid the build up of harmful bacteria.

It is recommended that you should recharge your air conditioning system every 2 years with gas and lubricant, in order to keep it running efficiently. This is not included as part of a routine car service and so it can often be overlooked.

Recommendation – Computer Man

I am writing this to tell everyone about an amazing computer man!

Awhile ago, a friend of mine, upgraded my laptop to Windows 10.

Everything was fine for a few weeks and then the computer crashed.

I immediately called the doctor, and was told the PC could be returned to windows 7or reinstalled Windows 10 at a much higher cost.

I decide to go back to Windows 7.

Upon receiving my computer back I saw that all my files, photos and programs were gone!!

I called David Fenton, who collected the laptop and within one week had recovered over 6,000 photos!!

This man is a genius!! Once again, my thanks David!

What’s on Competa Choir

One Voice Choir of Competa is restarting its rehearsals on

Thursday 7th January.

I know that a lot you good people out there did a lot of singing of Christmas carols, and songs over the festive season. If you thought that you might like to continue with more singing, then please come and join us at the room under the Competa Ayuntamiento (ex-bar Fernan) from 2.30pm until 4.30pm. We rehearse every Thursday and would love to welcome new members.

Opposite this are two white single storey buildings and we rehearse in La Casa Cultura at 5.30 to 8.00. 10 mins. Drive max. or approaching from Puente Don Manuel, take A7205 which bypasses Viñuela village and right at the end of the village at the new roundabout, you’ll see two white single storey buildings on the right and nearby is an earth parking area next to a chain link fence.
