Do you Have a Bike for Rent ?
My wife and I are from the United States (Boston area) and are living in Torrox Costa this winter. We would like to go for a bike ride now and then on the Promenade but there seems to be no rentals available (during the winter period) that we could find. Is there anyone out there that has one or two bikes (that you are no longer using) that we could occasional borrow for say up to an hour. We could rent them from you if you like.

Finding Services in Spain
I realise personal recommendation counts for a lot, but a lot of the posts requesting information seem to be for services and items that are widely advertised. Most people who live in Spain speak Spanish, and companies that have English web pages aren’t as common as those that don’t, so if you want something like a wedding venue for example it helps to type what you want in English in to Google translate and the copy the Spanish translation in to the search box. This brings up a lot more pages. They are in Spanish of course, but you can reverse the process by copying and pasting the page or click on the “translate this page” to get something you can understand.
Recommendation does count for a lot, and I do understand the issues liable and slander regarding warning against incompetent or crooked suppliers, but knowing other people’s bad experiences is even more valuable. I could offer valuable experience to anyone thinking of having a wood pellet central heating system fitted for example, but this information needs to be passed on with a personal phone call. Perhaps if anyone feels strongly about bad service they could blog to offer experience on a topic, without naming any supplier. What takes place in a private phone call then has nothing to do with Digamextra.

Services Needed– Home Maintenance
Hello fellow DigameXtra fans – we are hoping one of you can help.
We have a lovely house adjacent to the Nerja caves entrance, in Maro.
We are, however, part-timers – usually a week per month; sometimes two if we’re lucky – so we need someone to take care of our small pool and our large, but very manageable, garden on a regular basis.
Other bits of maintenance to be offered pro rata.
The dearest man who has always done it is returning to the UK,
so a.s.a.p. we need a replacement.
We have always based it on four hours a month (either one hour a week or two each fortnight) and double that in the summer months, at the rate of 10 euros per hour.
Previous experience essential, as is speaking English.

Wanted Chicken Coops – Response To the person who wants a Chicken Coop www.tiendanimal.es We got one from there they are based in Malaga. Will deliver flat pack with in few days, speak a little English. It went together easy but we did reinforce it round the nest box and wire the bottom.
