4 year old Dog Seeking a foster or Permanent home
Action for Animals (UK/Spain) has been informed that this dog’s owner in Archez no longer wants him and he is now roaming the streets of Cómpeta. Can you offer him a foster home or a forever home?
Action for Animals will pay for castration once he has a temporary or permanent home in which to recover. He had been offered a home in a couple of months time however due to a change in the adopter’s circumstances this is no longer possible.

Under Floor Leaks – Advice Needed

Advice Please – Tax on House Purchase
We have just received a big tax bill from the Agencia Tributaria de Andalucia on a house we bought claiming we have bought the house undervalued…and now we need to pay 8% on the difference they say it should have been sold at….. another 50% higher! Has anyone advice or an opinion on this, please write to Digame as I have been told that this is now becoming commonplace in their chasing of money and can affect anyone buying….. thank you in advance. Services – Movistar – Negative Experience
I can endorse everything said by the previous poster. I changed to Movistar when the company I was using refused to replace free, a 13 month old router that was supplied by them and had ceased working. It was still within the manufacturers 2 year warranty, but the company explained that they only offered a 1 year warranty, and this was explained in their ‘small print’. They wanted to charge me 50 euros for a router available in Worten for 34 euros. I told them not to bother. This company offered 9 – 5 service weekdays only. Since changing to Movistar I have a service team available 24/7, with English speaking staff. They have a fleet of service vans so are very prompt in dealing with faults unlike the others who usually don’t to house calls at all, but post you a new router which takes days to arrive and you have to fit yourself. Movistar usually have the best speeds. Fixed lined are rarely affected by weather conditions, their TV is a free optional extra, so in my mind they are worth every extra penny paid. They were bad in the past but have certainly up their game, and their customer relations

If you have an appointment to see the doctor or a consultant at the hospital in the comng months, you will need an interpreter. A number of doctors do speak a little English, but many prefer you to have an interpreter with you. The risk of your not understand ing what is being said to you, or of the doctor misunderstanding your problem is too high .

The lady who sits on Torrox Costa market at the very end near the Malaga Playa hotel he’s delicious free range eggs, but you need to get there early. Another outlet is the Torrox Costa Yoga Centre and also the mini market on Avenida de America ( where the Hong Kong restaurant is ) .
The German butcher across the road from the mini market sells the most delicious smoked ham .

I have been supplying free range and organically produced eggs for years, my hens are truly free range.
Although they have sheds for inclement weather and to lay, they all (80ish) roost overnight 3 metres up in our trees–you are welcome to visit if you wish, many people have.
One of my outlets is the organic market at the garden centre between Vinuela and Velez Malaga every Saturday between 10am and 2pm.—ask for Jo.
We are in the Los Romanes area near lake Vinuela.

You can buy free range organic eggs at the Garden Centre Organic Market in La Vinuela. Ask for Jo, who sells eggs from Chicken Paul, there are also other stall holders who have eggs from their farms if Jo has run out.

Recommendation – Buddha
Having seen several recommendations, latterly that from Marj on 16th
February on Digame, Coral and I went over to the Buddha Restaurant at
Penoncillo for lunch today. Wow, a bit special or what!
By far the best Indian food I have ever eaten in Spain, and alongside
the best I have eaten in London. What fabulous flavours, what a
comprehensive menu, what charming service. Never mind the Menu del
Dia, dive into the main menu, so very interesting, so many dishes, not
at all like the average Indian. And the staff so happy to explain and
assist in your choice. Even the various rice dishes were so full of
wonderful flavours. All I can say is go, and enjoy!
And to cap a fabulous meal, who came in to the restaurant, but old
friend Piyush, who will be known to many of you as a great cook of
Indian food, who is apparently supplying the restaurant. Good to see
you Piyush, about time you opened up again yourself, We miss you.

This links-type course is situated 8 km from Motril, in a sport and leisure complex near the beach. Los Mariscos is mainly flat and is decorated with palm trees and sugar cane. Generous greens and ample lakes characterise this course!! The 19th hole is worth the trip alone.
