- Avast AntiVirus Users Receive A Useful Free Gift With Latest Updates
It is called Avast SafeZone, a high security web browser for safe banking and shopping. Look on your Desktop or program list for it. It is based on Chrome browser, but stripped-down and hardened for extra secutity.SafeZone also has these handy features:
-When you visit a financial site, it switches into the extra-secure Pay Mode. You can also click a toolbar icon when SafeZone is open to manually turn Pay Mode on. This mode isolates the browser to block malware and hackers.
-Secure DNS automatically protects you against network hijackers.
-AdBlock Plus. If an ad you don’t trust still manages to get through you can right-click it and choose Block Element to safely close it.
-An easy video download tool. Open a YouTube video, a download arrow will appear above it. Click the arrow to download the video to your Downloads folder.
-SafeZone’s SafePrice feature kicks in when you select an item on a shopping site. A toolbar slides in at the top of the webpage with information about prices at other sites, and a notification if SafePrice found a lower price.
-Closing note: Remember to set up a Scheduled Scan in Scan Settings whenever installing a fresh antivirus program. Most do not do this by default. - Microsoft has begun showing uninvited adverts on the Windows 10 lock screen. You can block them. Go to Settings, Personalization, and then Lock Screen. There’s a box that reads “Get fun facts, tips, tricks, and more on your lock screen.” Move the slider to the off position.
- Reminder: Only 2 weeks remain on my 30EUR Clean and Tuneup Special for all laptops.

Driving with a dog from Spain to UK via Calais – advice please
I’d be grateful if someone could talk me through what is needed for taking a dog back from Spain to the UK.
I’ve adopted a dog here through one of the local animal charities and he has his Spanish pet passport, which I believe is up-to-date. I’ll be driving my own car, through Spain and France, with ferry from Calais to Dover.
My sticking point is that his chip is still registered to his deceased owner and the process to transfer this to me will take longer than I’m able to remain in Spain. (Spanish vets are refusing to transfer his chip registration to me, even with the charity adoption papers, and the registro RAIA needs to write to the deceased owner…(!))
My plan was to see a vet in France before the ferry crossing for the required “check” before travel, and I need to know if it’s an issue that his chip is not registered to me, and I don’t have a letter of authority (from his deceased owner…) to transport him..? Do French vets even have access to the Spanish Registro RAIA?
Also, any thoughts on the better ferry company, DFDS or P&O, for travelling with a dog?
Many thanks,
Nikki

Response… Car Importation Recommendation

Recommendation- Gas Repairs
Placido Roman Ortega in Torre del Mar. Email: fontagas at gmail dot com.
Speaks only Spanish, but is punctual and helpful.
By the way: is the hot water supply unstable?
Try turning down the water supply to the heater, using the lower botton
(turn all the way clockwise) – if you have got the same type as us (Cointra Godesia). Does not sound logical, but perhaps it will work. Birgit
Recommendation-
I want to recommend the garden of the Costa Torrox Garden Center
It is totally natural and the vegetables have a lot of flavour.
If you wish – they cut what you choose and you take it to you.
This is near to Lidl Torrox Costa
