Help Needed for Dog in Danger
Can anyone in the Torre del Mar area help a little female bodeguero type dog who is in heat at the moment and coming in and out of a neighbour’s garden as she pleases? The garden goes straight onto a road (not busy but cars do go down it) so everyone is terrified that she’s going to get run over (and/or pregnant…) I can’t take her in as I have a male dog and she needs extra special care as she is terrified of humans (although gradually getting better). She’s a bit of an escape artist too :(. If anyone can offer her a safe place until she is neutered (we and our neighbours have clubbed together to cover the cost) and beyond that if possible please let me know. Thank you and please share! Endesa Scam Warning

It is a warning regarding the fake emails and what to do if you
clicked on any link and your computer is affected…

We have detected a fraudulent campaign simulating Endesa notifications and inviting you to download the bill. Once the email has been opened, if you click on the link, you will be taken to a site containing malicious code (“a virus”), which blocks the personal files of computer users.
- Do not click on any links in bill notification emails that have not been sent by “Endesa Online” gestiononline@endesaonline.com
We have already warned our customers about this fraudulent campaign, which uses a supposed company bill as a decoy. If users download the content, all their personal files stored on their computer will be blocked and they will then be asked to pay a ransom to recover the files.
We are already carrying out the relevant actions to combat this software attack and we will keep you informed of any relevant updates in this regard.
The Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) is offering a service to help those affected by the fake Endesa bill virus.
In order to identify the type of virus and to verify whether the data can be recovered, the INCIBE recommends sending an email to incidencias@certsi.es and attaching two or three Word or Excel files (originally with a .doc or .xls extension) affected by the virus and which do not contain private or confidential information and larger than 1 MB. In addition, you will have to refer to the file that explains how to make the corresponding payment to recover the information.
Baby Ian’s Charity Raffle- Competa
I want to thank everyone who supported the recent raffle I organised for our Competa baby Ian, who is suffering with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease)
As always the community of Competa and surrounding villages who so generously helped and I raised 555euros to help the baby and his family for his medical therapy and care.
Thank you also to the local businesses who once again gave raffle prizes; Hotel Balcon, Competa, Chica Loca, La Esquina de Miguel, La Taperia, Restaurante El Pampano, Taberna Teteria Hierbabuena and local residents who kindly donated prizes; Grace, Juilie and Sandie.
