Lost Ring – please help
My friend lost her wedding ring on the Costa Torrox beach last night are we are trying to find someone who has a metal detector, I know it’s like looking for a needle in a hay stack but it’s worth a go.

Aiveen flagged up a need which I had discussed with a few relatives of patients /former patients but we were not planning to be ‘active ” until September.. ( yes,Aiveen I am already involved).
“Friends of Fernando”
Fernando passed away just a few months ago.Gaps in the “system” failed him..With apologies for being a bit previous…
Friends of Fernando’s preliminary aims will be :
To provide a focal point for people who had experienced a “loss” of any description through death/ ill health/ loss of self esteem/ burglary
Really any situation that knocks you sideways.
It’s a cuppa and a cake twice a month .( people who just want to help are especially welcome too).
We hope that it will take off and people will get together and make friends and that people who join the group might be able to bring talent to fund raise and move us in into a charitable status..
The aim is to have a group of “friends ” who will support each other through tough times, picking up the phone just to say “hello” means a lot./sharing information .There might be people who can give time to sit with someone ( I’m especially keen to meet an army / services veterans). if we can’t find the help voluntarily money could go towards paying for a taxi to bring a voluntary carer up the mountain or to pay for a carer to stay overnight at Cudeca to give a lone relative a break.
If you would like to be a ‘friend of Fernando ” please contact me. It’s not about pity it’s about proactive and practical..

I posted yesterday a heartfelt appeal on behalf of a friend struggling locally. I was right-you are all caring people! It will take me some time but I will respond to you all-so grateful! Many heads better than one for sure!
As I just said to someone in this grim dark world, where we know not what we are going to hear next we need each other more and more-without that we have nothing.

So all you do is remove those spaces before contacting a contributor.
New Rules for Blog
