Complaint – Lack of Location Information
Once again I am amazed to see so many individuals, and indeed
businesses, who assume that we know where they are. For example, in
yesterday’s Digamextra, Restaurant QueTal has an ad, they give a mobile
number, but no address, not even the area! Regular clients of theirs
will know where they are, but an ad is surely designed to attract NEW
clients. What a waste of space! If they can’t be bothered, then
neither can I.

Long Shot – damaged Vehicle….Stolen Property
On Wednesday 25th January between 12.30 – 1.30pm we were parked at LIDL in Torrox and came back to find a small side window on our British registered truck/car smashed. To say we were annoyed was an understatement but after clearing the glass we thought we had got off lightly as nothing appeared to be missing.
That is not until now, when we have needed these items and cannot find them, that we have we discovered what they had taken.
The first item is a light grey ‘Gill’ mens sailing jacket, quite distinct with reflective strips on it and a hat and gloves in one of the pockets.
The second item is a black textured plastic bag for holding documents.
Inside this were map books of France and Spain and some small recipe books along with a distinct blue notebook that has a wire binder and Leo logo lion on it.
The value of the items is small in comparison to their sentimentality.
If anyone has/does come across them would they kindly hand them into the police station in Torrox or please email me. Thanks

Hi, Can any person let me know of any dealings they have had with their Town Hall regarding this new Certificate.
I have had an architect to measure buildings etc. and apparently I am being charged for the outside patio space as it is tiled – It is not a covered area
This comes in at a considerable sum.
If you have any views on this I would be really grateful.

ack to normal after the Christmas/New Year break……The monthly Car Boot sale/market at El Pantano Restaurant car park, overlooking Lake Vinuela, on Sunday 5th February. 9.30am to 1.pm.
Easy to find on the A356 towards Colmenar.
Drive over the bridge crossing Lake Vinuela and the car park/bar is just ahead on the right hand side. Plenty of parking.
