Nerja Players Needs Storage Space

Dogs “Found” ??
I regularly see requests from Digamites who have picked up dogs from the streets or beach areas. A lot of these dogs are not lost.
They are Spanish latch key dogs.
The Spanish often let their dogs out during the day time whilst they are at work. If a dog looks to be well fed, then leave it alone. Only do the good Samaritan bit if a dog looks like it needs rescuing through malnutrition.
In my village we have about 6 or eight dogs that wander around during the day, but disappear during the evening when their owners return.

Mortgages & Bank Rates
I approached Cajamar Bank regarding the floor rate clause via a solicitor and managed to get my rate reduced by 2.9%, however, at that time The Banks weren’t obliged to return overpayments from beginning of Mortgage.
Now, following the Supreme Court Ruling, they have been ordered to reimburse customers overpayments and not only that Notary and Tax fees can be reclaimed. To keep the ball rolling they have also been told to get on with it and don’t drag their heels, in other words, pay up pronto.
I know there are still provisions to go to court but if enough people fight for their money then any court ruling , if it came to that must surely go in the favour of the client.
Don’t put it off, check your mortgage and take action if necessary.

Steven has been seeing one of my dogs who has problems with fear from his time spent alone in the campo where he was dumped as a puppy.
Even though he has now been with us a long time he is fearful of people apart from myself and even still fearful of my husband.
After sessions with Steven he has gained a lot more confidence and is coming along very well, he is making friends with my husband and will approach people now rather than run away from everyone.
He still has a long way to go but it has been an enormous help in building his confidence and his character is now coming out, he is now getting a bit cheeky !!

What’s on-Nerja 41 Club
Nerja 41 Club which is a club for Ex Round Tablers from all over the world enjoyed a Swedish evening run by two of our Swedish members.
Ragnar and Lennart along with their ladies Lillian and Agneta provided an evening showing us how children dress by tradition on Santa Lucia day which is seen in Sweden as being the beginning of the Christmas season.
The tradition is for the oldest girl in the family to dress in a white robe with a red sash and wear a crown of candles and lingonberry. She is dressed as St Lucia. The other girls dress in white with silver crowns. The boys wear pointed silver hats and carry wands with stars on them.
We were given lessons in Swedish etiquette, Lessons in Toasting the Ladies, Lessons in singing in Swedish, Lessons in drinking Snaps, Lessons in eating Herring, Lessons in Swedish words, facts and folklore as well as Swedish dancing.
Chairman Jim presented Alfie Fornear with a special jewel for running the Iberian 41 Cluster of Spanish Clubs a couple of years ago, for raising the bar for attendance at these events to new hights and demonstrating to other Clubs what can be acheived through effective planning and marketing.
