Torrox Attack
To All , Be aware! Last Friday evening approximately 9.30 pm I was attacked from behind as I was about to get into my car.I was parked in the centre of the top car park (olive factory ) the first I recall is a hand with some sort of rubber glove ( garden type ) over my mouth and my head jerked from the left to right very hard my spectacles were swiped away and my teeth were broken and two back teeth diss lodged.
The culprit shouted something ( Spanish maybe) which I did not understand but I resisted and managed to stab him with the car key for what good it was ,I then felt his hand go into my left pocket and he removed approximately 65 euros.He then pushed me forward into the car door and legged it,he was accompanied by another.
This cowardly deed I reported the police and guardia who took full statements from me.
I am aware that this message is late ,but my wife was on a cruise and reads the post , it may be selfish but I did not want to upset her,because she would have asked me !
I had emergency dental treatment on Saturday and must thank Graham from Torrox village for his help with emergency treatment with my teeth ( no steak for a while)
I had injuries to my shoulder and ribs , but think it was with my resistance
I have mailed this to make people aware
One small addition there was NO lighting on Friday evening but ‘he ho ‘it was working on Saturday.

After visiting and staying with hard working people in local homes in Uganda and Kenya my friend and I would like to help them to survive in some way . They desperately need second hand English books , clothes , shoes , bed sheets , Smart Phones and toys. We have the local contacts now to collect the donated stuff from Kampala , Kisumu, Nairobi or the sea port of Mombasa.
We realize that government corruption is a major problem but still want to help if we can . Have any Digame readers any advice please ?

Thank you very, very much to the 3 very kind Digame people who donated an old Smart phone for genuine students to access their university studies.
As you can see, I handed them over in face to face .
They were absolutely delighted and one was moved to tears .

Recommendation –Gardener – Contact Details Correction
After a recommendation on Digame for a gardener we booked Samuel to come and sort out our campo land.
He is brilliant, hardworking and very knowledgeable about the plants.
Our garden and land has never looked so good with beautiful shaped trees

Recommendation –Re-painting you vehicle
If you want to repaint your car the same or a different colour then read on
re how I repainted my 20 year old Renault Clio which was a bit of a mess.
First I found a good paint shop where they mixed paint to my satisfaction, then I rubbed the car down with wire wool then, after masking up with tape.
With a 4″ roller I rolled the paint onto the car.
It turned out to be a fantastic looking car. the paint shop was
