Mother Arrested, Held In Police Cell In UK, For Confiscating Her Own Daughters’ iPads:
– Yes, really. It’s the latest insane story of police overreach from the backwards UK, where stabbings are just an everyday occurrence and robberies are not even investigated, but people saying mean words about the ‘wrong’ things are thrown in prison. Now responsible parenting is the target.
– The LBC report notes: History teacher Vanessa Brown, 50, spent seven-and-a-half hours in a custody cell on March 26 this year, following a claim she had stolen two iPads which were traced to her mother’s house in Cobham, Surrey. Yet it transpired that the two devices belonged to her daughters, and Ms Brown had merely confiscated them to encourage them to focus on their schoolwork, a fact Surrey Police has now acknowledged. “I find it quite traumatic even talking about this now,” Ms Brown recalled. “At no point did they [the officers] think to themselves, ‘Oh, this is a little bit of an overreaction for a moment, confiscating temporarily her iPads and popping over to her mum’s to have a coffee’. It was just a complete overreaction.
– It isn’t made exactly clear who reported the iPads stolen, but it seems to have been the ex-partner of the woman. In any case, why on Earth did police waste their time on this? Isn’t there enough actual crime to deal with? The police also prevented the woman from speaking to her own children following the accusation. They also pulled one of the children out of school for questioning.
– Neil O’Brien, a Tory MP and shadow education minister, commented on the incident, noting “This is beyond absurd. People are having phones snatched all the time and police won’t follow up even when they know where they are, yet a law abiding person can end up in a cell for hours on end for taking away their own kids’ iPads.”
– Richard Tice, the deputy Reform UK leader, said that the “world has gone mad,”adding that “Police need to catch real criminals not mums looking after their children!”
– Greg Smith, the shadow business minister, added his criticism, remarking “Absolutely mad. A parent chooses when their child gets screen time and anything that challenges that is absolutely bonkers.”
– Harry Miller, a former police officer who works with the free speech campaign group Fair Cop, urged that police in the UK are becoming “Stasi like”. “They have become agents of a state orthodoxy rather than upholders of the law. It shows a complete lack of awareness of what theft is – a parent confiscating an iPad doesn’t even come close to meeting that definition,” he urged. “I think they should do more than apologise and remove themselves from office, because operating like that is a form of kidnap,” Miller continued. “They repeatedly overreach and they seem to have taken it upon themselves to become social engineers. The European digital ID card will put an end to your passwords, and your privacy, while ushering in the Digital Euro: {Translation}
– Surely password policies, each one demanding a different length, alphanumeric characters, signs, numbers and an endless number of whims of the security manager on duty, drive you crazy. All this is going to end very soon, with the arrival of the European digital ID card. But all that glitters is not gold.
– The European Union has promoted the European electronic ID card or electronic identity recognition system (eIDAS) with the promise of simplifying our digital lives. A single identity document valid in all Member States, which can be carried on a cell phone or smart card, will allow identification, signing documents and carrying out formalities without the need for multiple passwords. In addition, it will have advanced security protocols, which ensures the protection of personal data, or at least so they assure.
– However, beneath this apparent convenience lies a not inconsiderable threat to our privacy. The eIDAS not only centralizes our entire digital identity in a single medium, but also turns the mobile device into a key element of identification. This means that if the device is lost or stolen, not only would access to our personal accounts be compromised, but our entire identity would also be exposed. The thief could impersonate our identity in virtually all areas of daily life.
– In addition, this digital ID opens the door to mass surveillance of citizens. The fact that all identity information is centralized and instantly accessible facilitates the creation of complete profiles on our habits, movements and decisions. Are we willing to hand over this power to the State or even to private companies that manage such data?
– Furthermore, in order to use the European digital ID, it is necessary to install the EU digital wallet app, which will integrate the European ID with the digital euro, providing a very effective Trojan horse to facilitate the deployment of this ECB-controlled cryptocurrency.
– As a side effect, although eIDAS promises greater security against fraud and the elimination of passwords, it could have the opposite effect. This is because, once the interfaces with the European digital wallet are developed, most websites will ask for a simple click on your mobile to log in, instead of the site’s email and password, as is currently the case. This, which is much more convenient, also means that your ID card will be circulating in many, many places on the Internet, sometimes completely opaque with respect to the security that the website in question is applying to this sensitive data. Identity theft and fraud will be just around the corner, in all likelihood.
– It seems that, once again, the European institutions go at their own pace and live in their own universe, which tends to be increasingly distant from the reality experienced by citizens. And it cannot be forgotten that perfect systems in theory can lead to abuses in practice. The question that arises is: do we really need this extreme digitalization or are we moving towards a future where individual freedom is subordinated to technological efficiency? Is it really in our interest to have everything at a click?
– Historically it has been said that people tend to give up some of their freedom in favor of their security. Now it seems that both vital parameters – freedom and security – are going to be diminished in exchange for convenience. We should ask ourselves whether we should continue with the idea of building a society oriented towards comfort, which in its maximum expression becomes laziness, idleness or idleness, as we prefer to call it, or, on the contrary, we should give more priority to the human development of the person and the values that have differentiated us from the rest of the animals for millennia: spirituality, intellectuality, reason, love, solidarity and many more. Russian missiles hit the center of the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday:

– The Department of Health and Human Services has launched a “massive testing and research effort” aimed at determining the cause of the “autism epidemic” by September, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced Thursday.

Your Car Is Spying on You. Automobiles Have Become a ‘Privacy Nightmare’:
– Automobiles today are giant rolling sensors, from the tires to the entertainment system, tracking not only your driving habits but recording personal information about you, completely unrelated to driving. Experts call them a “privacy nightmare.” New cars can collect more data about you than anything else you own, including your cell phone, and for good reason. Driver data has been valued at $400 billion. In fact, your car is far from private. A study by Mozilla’s ‘Privacy Not Included’ project found cars to be the worst product for privacy they’ve ever tested.
– The fine print on Nissan’s privacy statement from 2023 says it may collect “Sensitive personal information, including…citizenship status, immigration status, race, national origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, sexual activity…health diagnosis data, and genetic information.” After an uproar, the company’s most recent privacy statement omits the collection of “sexual” and “genetic” information.
– Some new car owners have seen their premiums go up after their insurance company received their driving data. AMICO Insurance says when data is shared with insurance companies, “Some stuff is more obvious. Am I slamming on the brakes really hard? Running red lights? Some of them are a little bit less obvious, like which areas are you driving at? What time are you driving?” The top automotive trade group in the U.S., the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, insists your car isn’t spying on you, it’s “keeping you safe.”
– Used cars have another privacy problem. One YouTuber shared that after selling his Volvo, the next owner never reset the car’s security profile. “So I can log in to my old car’s app that is still on my phone and I can see every single place that the new owner has gone, from the school their kids go to, the church, to where they work, to where their house is, physical address, right in the driveway. I know everything about them,” he said.
– Polling shows an overwhelming majority of car buyers want to control their own data. The first thing new or used cars buyers should do is shut off as much of the data collection as possible. Open up the settings of the infotainment system, see if there’s any privacy settings that you can change, then do the same thing in the corresponding app on your phone.

Two Biological Men Compete for USA Fencing Women’s Championship:
– Two men will compete for the USA Fencing championship. This is one week after Stephanie Turner refused to compete against a man, Redmond Sullivan. Sullivan already won two gold medals in just six events against women, versus a personal-best third place against men throughout 2021-2023.
– Sen. Ted Cruz wrote to USA Fencing, asking how many women were forced to compete against men and if there were any injuries. Cruz sent a notification to USA Fencing, “Comply with federal law, protect women’s sports or lose your governing body status.” We don’t know if he received a response.
– USA Fencing said they allowed biological men in the competition to create safe and inclusive spaces for everyone. How does that work out for women who don’t have the physical power of a man? Periana’s Días del Aceite Verdial 2025:
Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27
– Periana’s greenish olive oil is very famous. This olive oil is made with olives of the Verdial variety. Of the 1000 varieties of olives grown in the world, the Verdial de Vélez is only grown in the Axarquia region. It is an olive that stays green for a long time and is harvested very late, from January to March.

Cecotec Data Breach Announced- FACUA denounces Cecotec for taking two years to warn customers their data had been stolen: {Translation}
– FACUA-Consumers in Action has asked the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) for an urgent investigation into the massive leak of personal information affecting customers of Cecotec, a company specializing in home technology.
– The security breach, as reported by the company itself, took place in April 2023, although it has not been until now – almost two years later – when those affected have been informed through an email. The compromised platform has no longer been operational since 2020, but it still stored sensitive data of former users.
– Among the information exposed are names, surnames, ID numbers, telephone numbers and postal addresses. FACUA is particularly concerned about the nature of the stolen data, which could be used in personalized phishing scams, such as bank fraud. The data may also include not only customer provided information, but also data collected by user’s Cecotec devices {for example, home floor plans created by your vacu-bot}.
– Cecotec claims to have taken measures to reduce possible damages, including the closure of the affected platform, the creation of an Internal Security Committee, the implementation of anti-fraud tools and the official notification to the AEPD.

– {Editor’s note: While I still look at X/Twitter, I no longer interact with it after my X messenger was flooded with posts from AI accounts pretending to be real humans contacting me. These AI accounts often seek personal info that their creators will sell to data harvesting operations. Then the AI adds your data to its ever-growing data collections, for future use without your permission- all your interactions, chats, images, etc. You can usually identify such accounts: they tend to be newly created accounts, their messages tend to repeat what you have said and then ask you some nosey questions, and they often mis-apply slang words in their attempts to “sound like a person”. -Ed}
– Meta company is rolling out a wide array of AI products, including a tool that helps users create AI characters (fake accounts) on Instagram and Facebook. Meta hopes to attract a younger audience, in a face-off with key competitors like TikTok and Snapchat. “We expect these AIs to actually exist on our platforms in the same way that [human] accounts do,” Connor Hayes, vice president of product for generative AI at Meta, told London’s Financial Times. – La Liga’s court-ordered authority to block Cloudflare IP addresses to disrupt pirate IPTV services continues to black out large numbers of entirely legal sites. {That’s right, the Spanish courts allow La Liga to block any website it wants, without needing approval, and without paying damages to those improperly blocked. He or she may identify with both binary genders, identify with neither, or live a gender identity and/or expression that is fluid and variable over time.”

– The income tax return is adapted to the circumstances of each taxpayer and his or her environment. That is precisely why there is the personal and family minimum in the IRPF, an amount that is subtracted from the taxable base according to the personal situation and that can be applied in the 2024 campaign (which began in April and runs until next July 1).

The diagnosis of Alzheimer’s through a blood test reaches hospitals: {Translation, summary}
– Alzheimer’s disease is already being successfully detected with a simple blood test. This test, which until a couple of years ago was in the research phase, is already a “clinical reality” in some centers: the phospho-tau217 biomarker allows detection, with an accuracy of over 90%, of the disease in both early stages (when the symptoms are small memory losses) and in more advanced stages (when there is already dementia). This test also represents a saving of between 60% and 81% compared to current tests, which are much more complicated (such as a lumbar puncture or a PET scan). Torrox City Council provides incentives of up to 300 euros for the installation of the Cruces de Mayo (May Crosses):

– For years many European countries have placed tariffs on American goods. Very odd thanks for the US sponsored & financed Marshall Plan that rebuilt Europe after WWII. But America tolerated it in an effort to encourage Europe’s re-growth.
– Now that Trump wants to impose on countries the same tariffs that the US is subject to, these countries call it an “attack”. So from that I must conclude that all these countries admit they have been attacking America for many decades now with their tariffs, in some cases over 200%.
– Trump has stated that he will drop tariffs on any country that reciprocates. How is that an attack, or even a threat? As they say in America, “turnabout is fair play”. I can’t say I disagree. But the socialists love to play the victim, and won’t pass up any opportunity to do so, even if it is something they themselves are guilty of. -Ed.

Golf News- Masters champion makes controversial return to Augusta 18 months after leaving prison:
– Angel Cabrera won the Masters back in 2009 but since then has served 30 months in prison after being found guilty of assault and intimidation against former partners – but he will be welcomed back at Augusta this week. – Any individual who wins the Masters receives a lifetime exemptions to play in the tournament when it comes around but Cabrera was unable to take up that opportunity in 2024 because of visa issues. News Note: It’s a slow news day, mostly dubious panic articles about Trump’s tariffs and Easter articles. So I will take this opportunity to present 2 long articles regarding topics of some real significance in our lives- the Sánchez regime’s colossal failure to manage EU Recovery Funds effectively, and the dismal performance of the gov’t & public services during the Covid crisis. Remember how all those businesses that closed during the covid threat were supposed to receive support in order to recover? Not many did reopen as the Sanchez administration failed to allocate most of the private sector recovery money. Those funds that were disbursed to the private sector were often not recovery grants at all, but were loans that would require repayment to Spain’s socialist government who received the funds without repayment obligations for the most part! Just as Sanchez attempted to tie DANA recovery funds to his ill-fated budget proposal in an act of political blackmail, he continues to screw the private sector, which I suppose is to be expected from a hard core socialist globalist. -Ed.

Sánchez’s great EU Next Generation EU covid recovery funds scandal, some funds will be returned due to mismanagement: {Translation in full}
– The closing of the 2024 fiscal year has confirmed what many economists have been warning for some time: the management of Pedro Sánchez’s government of the 163,000 million European Next Generation funds has been a historic failure. Far from the triumphalist narrative that the Government is trying to sell, official data and independent reports show a bleak picture. With just over a year to go before the end of the program, Spain has lost its initial advantage, being caught between a disappointing budget execution and a legacy of failed reforms for the future.
– The numbers don’t lie. Or the data kills the story, as you prefer. According to official data from the General Intervention of the State Administration as of December 31, 2024, out of a total of 34,236 million euros of budgeted credits, barely 9,114 million euros of payments have been executed, which is equivalent to a paltry 26.6% of the total.
– This is the worst record since the Recovery Plan was launched four years ago. Although authorizations reached 83.90% and commitments 76.58%, recognized obligations stagnated at 63.17%, inflated by an accounting trickery that hides transfers between public bodies.
– The gap between commitments and actual payments shows a paralysis in 2024 that cannot be justified solely by Sánchez’s unilateral and bureaucratic design. Spain has squandered its initial advantage as one of the first countries to receive disbursements and, while Italy and Portugal advance with agility, our country remains stuck since it received in the fourth payment, with more than a year without receiving new funds and without clear prospects for improvement. The fifth payment will arrive almost two years late according to the initially planned schedule and with possible partial penalties for non-compliance, such as the diesel tax.
– Delays and constant changes expose serious mismanagement. The management of European funds has been marked by improvisation. The constant changes in the objectives and technical modifications of the Recovery Plan have shown a lack of planning and a crude attempt to hide non-compliance from Brussels. It is surprising the laxity with which the European Commission, far from demanding rigor and reforms that would have an impact on the competitiveness of our country, has evaluated Sánchez.
– Despite changes in milestones and validations bordering on the limit of what is permissible, the Government has been stuck for more than a year, without the capacity to pass key laws. Congress is blocked by Sánchez’s weakness and the risk of having to return funds is no longer a remote hypothesis, it is real. While execution was presumed, there were unexecuted remainders such as to finance the DANA Component, a new Housing PERTE or the reallocation of 5 billion to finance anti-tariff measures.
– Not only has budgetary execution failed, but also reformist ambition has failed. The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) has been devastating about the pension reform: far from guaranteeing the sustainability of the system, the measures adopted are insufficient and lack the necessary long-term impact. The burden is shifted to future generations without offering fundamental solutions. It is an analysis that discredits even the indicator used to measure the sustainability of the pension system.
– Labor reforms, another pillar of the plan, do not fare any better either. The European Court of Auditors has been blunt: only 19% of the measures adopted have had tangible results, while half of them have had no impact whatsoever. The lack of clear indicators, the absence of well-defined objectives and a deficient monitoring system have turned these reforms into a propaganda exercise rather than an engine for change. Far from energizing the labor market, bureaucratic rigidity and the lack of real incentives for companies have limited their effectiveness, leaving Spain with the highest unemployment rate in the EU (10.4%) and 800,000 inactive permanent employees.
– Bureaucracy and interventionism, how the private sector is marginalized and most recovery funds, specifically requested to aid the damages covid caused the private sector, mainly go to the public sector. From the outset, the plan’s interventionism has favored the public sector to the detriment of the private sector. Seventy-seven percent of the resources allocated to the 100 largest beneficiaries have gone to public entities, relegating SMEs and startups, the real engine of the economy.
– This is a double detriment: on the one hand, excessive bureaucracy and legal uncertainty have discouraged private investment; on the other, the lack of support for innovative projects has slowed down the modernization of the productive fabric. The PERTE, such as the Electric and Connected Vehicle or Decarbonization, are clear examples: the lack of clarity and inexplicable administrative slowness has led large companies to rethink their forecasts, while SMEs are unable to access funds except for a Digital Kit.
***Ministerial lack of coordination***
– The ministries that should lead the change, the ones that represented Sánchez’s main priorities, are the ones that execute the worst:
*The Ministry of Housing is shipwrecked making payments for only 14.4% (457 million euros). It leaves more than 2,700 million unexecuted. A lost year.
*Industry and Tourism, remains, one more year, among the worst ministries of Sánchez, with a level of payments of 15.91%, leaving 5,139 million in the drawers of the ministry without promoting strategic sectors in 2024.
*Oscar López, with more than 7,000 million to manage in the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Function, only released payments for 18% of its budget.
*Incapacity. The PERTE CHIP (Strategic Project for Microelectronics and Semiconductors), approved three years ago, only reaches 330 million awarded out of a total of 12,250, 2.7%.
*Neither Ecological Transition nor Oscar Puente in the Ministry of Transport can boast of anything. There is a lack of strategic vision and a surplus of window-dressing politics.
***A failure with responsible parties***
– The Government of Pedro Sánchez cannot evade its responsibility, nor can it offload it onto the Autonomous Regions on which it imposed investments and with which it never provided financing. Its interventionist arrogance, obsessed with centralized control, without dialogue or flexibility and with zero self-criticism has been a disaster.
– Spain is still anchored in an obsolete model that prioritizes propaganda over results. The consequence is clear: Spain loses competitiveness and the risk of returning funds is real. The Court of Accounts uncovers Sánchez’s chaos in the pandemic: {Translation}
– On March 14, 2020, the government of Pedro Sanchez decreed the first state of alarm in response to the outbreak of a lethal virus from Wuhan. That day began the physical and moral confinement of an entire country. COVID-19 disrupted life like no other phenomenon in this century. The collective trauma, the loss of certainties, the health and economic collapse, and the generalized anxiety marked the beginning of a nightmare that still reverberates today.
– Five years later, the Court of Auditors certifies what many denounced in real time: the Government managed the pandemic with a precarious, inefficient and uncoordinated information system, which aggravated the tragedy. The audit report approved on March 27th puts in black and white the technological incapacity of the Ministry of Health to deal with a health emergency of such magnitude. In its own words, the Ministry’s information systems “were not sufficiently prepared” either in terms of performance or interoperability with the systems of the autonomous communities. The State lacked a digital architecture that would allow the collection, sharing and analysis of epidemiological data essential for making vital decisions. At a time when every minute counted, the Ministry operated blindly.
– The audit reveals that there was no specific system for the management and coordination of health emergencies. Alerts were managed with Excel, phone calls, e-mails and videoconferences. A 21st century European country facing the biggest health crisis of the century with tools from a 1990s office. It is inconceivable. And yet, it was real.
– The epidemiological surveillance system, SIVIES, created in 1995 and never rigorously updated, collapsed from the very first days. There was no interoperability between data, no unique patient identifiers, no capacity for real-time integration. Data arrived late, were incomplete or outright erroneous.
– The consequences were dramatic. The confusion of information resulted in a lack of control in hospitals, delays in the detection of cases, opacity in the figures and erratic management of the health supply. The pandemic left 150,426 deaths in Spain up to June 2023, according to INE data, of which 135,207 were directly attributed to COVID-19. The country lost almost two years of life expectancy in 2020, the economy plummeted by 17.8% and public debt soared to 101.8% of GDP. A humanitarian, health and economic tragedy that demands responsibility.
– Far from facing up to the failures, Sánchez’s Executive built a self-satisfied narrative. “We came out stronger”, they said, while millions of Spaniards lost relatives, jobs and certainties. Mistakes were hidden, investigations were vetoed and the Public Prosecutor’s Office was used as a shield against the complaints that demanded justice. Today, the report of the Court of Auditors once again reveals that the reality was quite different.
– Technological improvisation extended to all areas. There was no interoperable state vaccination registry. The REGVACU system was created in fits and starts and, although it allowed some traceability of the doses administered against COVID-19, it was insufficient and showed serious shortcomings. As many as 2.6 million vaccines could not be linked to identifiable beneficiaries in the system. To date, the national vaccination system (SIVAIN) is still awaiting effective regulation.
– In border control, the chaos was similar. Seventy-two percent of international travelers who were required to take a PCR test did not do so on time, and Health did not follow up on the positives detected and could not determine whether the infections were imported. The Spain Travel Health (SPTH) application, although effective in its initial design, was not connected with SIVIES or with the foreign health system (SISAEX), generating a critical fragmentation of information. Some 4.7% of diagnostic tests could not be associated with the Individual Health Card. The chaos was structural.
– The report also denounces that the Ministry was, in 2019, one of the departments with the lowest investment in information technologies. No qualified personnel, no resources, no vision. Internal reorganizations during the pandemic exacerbated the problem. It was necessary to hire an external “technical office” to maintain the minimum operational level. One more example of the institutional precariousness with which the greatest emergency in decades was faced.
– The report of the Court of Auditors is not an opinion: it is an official X-ray of the collapse. It is the same one that The Lancet magazine, which placed Spain among the countries with the worst management of the emergency in the world, had already exposed.
– But not even now, with the perspective given by time and the auditing evidence, has there been a hint of self-criticism on the part of the Executive. Sánchez has not asked for forgiveness. The percentage Spain dedicates to military spending is barely 1.4% eleven years years later.

Waiting lists for medical consultations grow, reach five months in Andalusia: {Translation, summary}
– The average time a patient waits after being referred by the family doctor was 150 days on January 1, five months, according to data provided by the Andalusian Health Service (SAS). A year earlier, on January 1, 2024, the average delay was 142 days, eight days less.
– The waiting lists accumulating appointments with specialists are not shrinking. There are now 690,967 patients waiting. Five years ago, on January 1, 2020, that figure was 442,914 people, almost 250,000 fewer patients. The bottleneck is concentrated in four specialties: ophthalmology, with 121,505 patients on waiting lists; traumatology, with 107,425; rehabilitation, with 68,603; and otolaryngology, with 52,445, account for more than half of the SAS outpatient waiting lists.
– Andalusians have been concerned for years about worsening healthcare times. It was the second problem for citizens questioned in the latest survey by the Andalusian Studies Center Foundation, the Andalusian barometer, only behind employment. The increase in the average delay reflected in the statistics is yet another milestone. Citizens have the right to be seen within a period of two months from the time a general practitioner schedules a first consultation with a specialist. This is dictated by Decree 96/2004 of the Regional Ministry of Health. The rule, however, is not complied with. The reality is stubborn: at the beginning of 2025, 58% of the patients on the waiting lists were outside this legal period, one point more than at the beginning of 2024 (57%).
– The problem is not only those two months that the regulation prescribes as the maximum time limit, taking into account that the average delay in all specialties was five months on January 1 in SAS consultations. In the specialty of pneumology, the average wait is seven months, two months longer than a year ago; in neurology, the average delay is eight months; while the average wait in angiology and vascular surgery is 17 months, five months longer than a year ago.
– The lack of angiologists is alarming. There is no other specialty with such lengthy average delay- 17 months. The angiologist is the doctor who deals, among other ailments, with the treatment of varicose veins, a disease that half of the population may suffer from, a pathology with a “high demand”. The main cause is the lack of specialists, a hindrance that affects some provinces more than others and that the public sector suffers more than the private sector. What is happening in angiology can be extrapolated to the rest of the specialties.
– The training of resident angiologists has grown but it will only be a solution in the medium term, between five and ten years, explains Martínez Gámez, who practices at the University Hospital of Jaén. He proposes two possible solutions to reduce waiting lists in his specialty: the adoption of teleconsultation models to speed up appointments at health centers, a remedy that Martínez Gámez describes as “complex”, and that the minor pathologies of the specialty be assumed by family practitioners while there is a shortage of angiologists and vascular surgeons.

– Using an External Hard Drive or USB Drive
This method is straightforward and ideal for offline transfers.
1. Connect the external drive to your Windows 10 PC.
2. Open File Explorer, locate the files you want to transfer, and copy them to the external drive.
3. Disconnect the drive and connect it to your Windows 11 PC.
4. Open the external drive on the new PC, copy the files, and paste them into your desired location.
– Using Cloud Storage (OneDrive in this example, any other cloud storage you use will be a similar process)
If both PCs have internet access, OneDrive is a convenient option.
1. On your Windows 10 PC, open OneDrive and sign in with your Microsoft account.
2. Drag files or folders you want to transfer into your OneDrive folder.
3. On your Windows 11 PC, sign in to OneDrive with the same account, and download the synced files.

Missing person alert, plus two injured hikers rescued after getting lost on a mountain in Nerja: {Translation}
– Two hikers were rescued on Tuesday by emergency services after getting lost in a mountain in the Sierra de Nerja, Málaga, and spending the night in the open. According to the Andalusian Regional Government’s Emergency Service 112, just before 8:00 AM, the 112 hotline received a distress call from a woman indicating that she and her husband had become lost on a mountain in Nerja, which they had climbed following the course of a river. – Renfe has announced this Monday that it is putting into service a new high-speed rail service without transfer. This will start operating from next April 23 to improve rail connectivity and optimize the offer between several provinces and communities in Spain. The company will launch a new AVE ‘passing’ between Andalusia, Aragon and Catalonia, through Madrid, a service that will join a train that already runs between Seville and the capital of Madrid with another one that travels the Madrid-Barcelona route.

South Africa’s Highest Court Denies Bid To Have ‘Kill The Boer’ Declared Hate Speech:
– South Africa’s highest court denied on March 27 a bid to have the song “Kill the Boer” be deemed hateful speech.
– The application should be dismissed as it bears no reasonable prospects of success,” stated the order from the Constitutional Court. The case was brought by AfriForum, a South African nongovernmental organization representing white South Africans, who constitute 7 percent of the population and own 70 percent of the farmland. South Africa consists of 62 million people.
– “After this shocking court ruling, we see that this is no longer the case. We are seeing an increasing radical implementation of the Constitution. We see an increase in ideologically-driven judges,” said AfriForum CEO Kallie Kriel in a statement. “However, we are not going to become discouraged.”
– “Kill the Boer” is an apartheid-era song. Boers are white settlers of primarily Dutch descent who often pursued an agrarian living in what is now South Africa. The term “Boer” has been used to refer to white farmers in the country, and the lyrics of the “Kill the Boer” song mostly consist of the word “shoot.”
