On the 26/03/2019 I was driving around the roundabout at Supersol,Torre Del Marin my green Jaguar car when I was struck at the rear by a wagon/ lorry which had come from the direction of the hospital and intending to turn right at the roundabout. The wagon did not stop and continued towards Torre Del Mar. A lady who witnessed the accident stopped alongside us and informed us that the wagon had collided with my Jaguar. the witness the drove off towards Caleta. Could the lady please contact me.

Car Boot/Market. Sunday 5th May:
The regular “1st Sunday of the month” Car Boot sale/market is at El Pantano Restaurant car park, overlooking Lake Vinuela, on Sunday 5th May 9.30am to 1.pm.
Easy to find on the A356 towards Colmenar.
Drive over the bridge crossing Lake Vinuela and the car park/bar is just ahead on the right hand side. Plenty of parking.
There are always bargains galore, old and new.
-Always a good selection of D.I.Y. tools.
-Homemade Jams and Marmalades and Chutneys
-Household and garden items for sale on many of the stalls
-Plants, shrubs, flowers and herbs.

Come along and enjoy a morning browsing and picking up a few bargains at this well established monthly market, which attracts visitors from far and near. A super location. Foster or adoption needed for Dona: Give A Dog A Home Rescue Malaga
Dona is looking for continued foster adoption. Currently in foster east of Malaga but due to a change in circumstances anew foster placement is being sought urgently, or better still a forever home. She is 5 years old. She was entered into don animal perrera after she had been used for breeding. She is an Alano, a rare breed which is part of the boxer group.
She spent many months in the perrera before being taken out by Give a Dog a Home Rescue.
She has a passport is fully vaccinated spayed and chipped.

Dona DOB 16/08/2014 – Breed Alano – Rescued from the pound by Dawn after being used for breeding for 4 years. I offered to foster Dona on 3rd Dec 2018 to bring her back to good health & show her unconditional love. Dona has low level leish & only needs to take 1/2 tablet am & pm per day. So 4 months later what a beautiful big, gentle, soft girl she has become. Great walking on a lead & has good recall apart from she see other dogs whom she just wants to meet & greet. Malaga airport: Best way I have found.
-Dropping people off.
Follow the signs to ‘departures’ on the high level.
Keep to the right, where it says “Authorised only’ for some reason, not to “Parking”
go through the ticket barriers, go into the car park and drop people in the yellow hatched area. You then leave, and have 15 minutes FREE on the ticket – so NO Charge
-Collecting people. When they come into the arrivals hall, they should go straight ahead towards the coffee shop,  then up the two long escalators behind it into the DEPARTURES area.
There are loos there as well, which is convenient.
Then make their way to the car park, on the top floor, as before.
You then have the choice. Either guess what time they will arrive and pay a small amount on the ticket
OR
“Lurk” outside the immediate zone, in Macro car park for example on the main road, or in the slip road opposite the brewery, and then your guests ring you as they come through into arrivals and start the process
You then go to “Departures” as before, and meet them on the yellow hatched area, and
again do this within the 15 minutes, so pay nothing
“Lurking” means you have to be on the ground level, not the high level
You go UP on a slip road to the right just past the petrol station on the roundabout

Malaga Airport: To pick up we tell everyone to collect baggage then phone us three rings, go upstairs to departure, walk across the road to tobacco shop and walk to the back of car park and wait. When you hear the three rings you are actually parked in plasamayor, just passed the airport turn from malaga on motorway (coin ) free parking and shops to look at whilst waiting for call, by the time your guests have called and walked up to pick up point is the same time you arrive at airport hence no parking charge or long waits. Dropping off is Easy just get your ticket drop them off then go within 15 mins saving charges. To pick up we leave

Airport drop off: You can no longer drop off people outside the airport but must use their drop off ‘Express’ carpark. As you approach the terminal building you now have to go through a barrier to pick up a ticket then proceed into the Express car parking area. The first 15 mins are free but then after that I think the minimum cost is 2.30€ plus a minute by minute charge after that. This is fine if you are literally just going to drop off a passenger and luggage there, then drive straight out again.
I used it once but the ticket barrier is a little way from the entrance and there is often a queue caused by other cars blocking the carparking areas or just dithering about! It took a little while to find a space then I made the mistake of popping into the terminal to use the loo. By the time I came out and then joined a queue to exit the carpark, I ended up paying 3.45€ at the barrier.
Next time I simply used the short stay carpark which gave me much more time and was far cheaper, and I also use this for pick ups too. To access the short stay carpark you need to follow the P1 signs and stay on the ground floor area, do not follow departures or go up the ramp towards the terminal building.

Recommendations

SPW Construction: We employed SPW Construction to completely retile the floors of three bedrooms, and the floors and walls of two bathrooms. They did an excellent job, with lovely clean edges on the walls, and nice flat surfaces, despite the contours of the walls and floors underneath.
We were impressed by the things they did automatically – like matching lines on floor and wall tiles, repairing small patches of damp they found, and repainting the dirty ceilings in the bathrooms. When they found evidence of termite damage, they let us know so that we could OK some repair work. The work was carried out while we were away, and the team cleared the rooms before they started, and cleaned and replaced everything at the end of the job. All the way through we were sent updates, and sometimes photos, of the work progress. We dealt mostly with Scott, who couldn`t have been kinder, and even took us to a tile warehouse, where the rang of tiles was much larger, and cheaper, than anywhere else we`d been. We thought the cost for the work was very reasonable and, for once, the final cost matched the estimate. We will certainly use the firm again.

Danny Boy’s – Torrox Costa: Summer Madness at Danny Boy’s! From this Thursday we will open at 1pm every day. Also from this Thursday we will be serving up our “Danny’s Barbie” menu every day 4-9pm. We now have a top of the range huge Australian Outback BBQ on the terrace, serving Smokie & Sticky BBQ Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Chipshop Quarter Pound Burgers and Hot-dogs. All these dishes can be served with home-cut real potato chips, salad and homemade coleslaw.
