Endesa Discounts. Tempo Happy Rate
I have heard frustrated people ask about getting the discount at Endesa.
I just had a wonderful experience with Endesa and it was really easy.
I hired a young lady from the village who is Spanish. She also speaks and teaches English! Contact me via email and I will give you her contact information. She arranged everything for us and made an appointment in Velez Malaga. We went there at 9:00 AM when they opened and had to wait about 1.5 hours as we were the 13th person. You get a number at the door so come early.
We were given 3 option. Either 2 hours free each day, 1 day a week or 50 hours a month. We chose the 2 hours a day and we could even choose our time so we chose 8AM to 10AM every day. So we can do wash, run the dish washer, turn on the electric heaters for water or room cooling or heating, run the clothes dryer, etc in those 2 hours each day. Also they have an app for your phone where you can change those times to anything that you want and whenever you want. I have not tried that yet but I am told that it will work.

The young lady in the village charges 10 Euro an hour to do this for you. It took me a total of 4 hours from the time I picked her up and returned her to the Sayalonga parking lot. I hope this helps.

Water Heater Recommendations: I’m hoping someone can recommend a good person to install a water heater in La Herradura. The one that came with the house is just too small – if we fill the bathtub, we run out of water.
I am wondering if anyone has experience with On Demand water heaters or if that’s not suitable here in Spain.

Sewing Machine Repair: I have a Bernina sewing machine which, for anyone who sews, knows it is the Rolls Royce of machines! Mine in Nerja is a ‘Record’ and about 40 yrs old. Long Lines For Health Care May be Far Longer Than Previously Admitted:
The new regional government run by the Partido Popular-Ciudadanos centre-right coalition has accused the previous Socialist-run Andalusian authority of hiding the true extent of health service waiting lists in official figures.
Regional Health minister, Jesús Aguirre, said on Tuesday that at the end of last year there were 843,538 people waiting for an operation or a specialist appointment with the SAS (Andalusian health service), 548,000 more than the figure offered by the previous government!
Of those half a million “hidden” patients, nearly 100,000 are in the province of Malaga. The Health Department’s delegate for this area, Patricia Navarro, said on Wednesday that in June last year, the Socialist government reported just under 60,000 people on waiting lists in the province, whereas the real figure offered by the new government is more than 156,000. 11th Art Walk 20-24 April 2019 in Competa: In Cómpeta the 11th Art Walk will take place on Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st and Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th of April, 2019. If you love art, you don’t want to miss it! Discover the beautiful village, while 38 international artists representing 9 different nationalities will show their work. It’s just a one hour drive from Malága.
You are welcome to participate in workshops to improve your own artistic skills. And there is the opportunity to see the artists at work. Feel free to meet them personally or admire their exhibited works of art: paintings, drawings, textile art, photographic art, video-projections, ceramics, bronze, wood, stone and steel sculptures. All will be displayed at different venues in the village.
This year we’re happy to announce new activities! On Saturday morning there is a meditation ceremony. On Sunday afternoon you are invited to a storytelling event. -SAT 2100HRS Yet another new act at O Learys this Saturday night and we’re really looking forward to this one! Willie&the Inmates are bringing their mix of surf and rockabilly rock’n’roll to our beach bar!
-SUN 1330hrs Slightly earlier start this week with the Ireland rugby match at 1600hrs.

-Friday 8 March starting at 8pm. The bar/restaurant is called La Güena Genta, located in Avenida Pescia 21. I would like to spend a few words, because last Friday I shared very emotional moments…it was the first time we played there, we created a very warm and engaging atmosphere, and the audience enthusiastically participated! It was amazing! This is a very simple place, but the owner is a very welcoming woman. The food is very good! For the music’s evening there is an offer, which consists of a fish or meat dish with vegetable side dish and a dessert for 10 euros. You can even just have a drink. The first drink is 5 euros.

-Now Facebook is allowing anyone to look you up using your security phone number (or the email address you registered with)! Anyone else you call on that phone has your number and can FB search it to discover more about you! FB can also be searched for the owner of a given email.
Last year it came to light that Facebook was using the Two Factor Authentication (2FA) phone numbers people submitted to the company, solely so they could protect their accounts with 2FA, for targeted advertising. Now Facebook is allowing anyone to look up a user by their phone number or email. Expect similar behavior from the rest of the internet services that use 2FA. Adding insult to injury Facebook won’t let users opt out of this privacy violation they never opted in to. The most you can do is limit who can look you up, from the default “Everyone” to “Friends,” but you can’t hide it entirely.
If users want to try to claw back some of their privacy from Facebook’s latest data grab, go into the Settings of your Facebook account, click Privacy, then click “How People Find and Contact You.” Then click “Who can look you up using the phone number you provided?” and change the dropdown box from “Everyone” to “Friends.”

It’s not long now until March 17th which is Ireland’s national holiday and in some ways, the world’s holiday! It’s one of our favourite days of the year and last year was absolutely fantastic fun! This year, we’re going even bigger! We have some proper Irish music all afternoon with our favourite resident Paddy, Paul Hayes LIVE FROM 1300HRS! Paul can literally sing anything but we’re sure he’s gonna break out all his proper Irish songs for this one!
As if that wasn’t enough we have even more live music later that night! From 2100hrs we have yet another new artist!
Vo Fletcher will be live doing an incredible mix of folk and blues. This man is super talented!
