Host Family Required
I was wondering if you might be able to help, my son is looking to live out in Torrox from Aug 1st – April 1st to take part in a football program.
He is looking for a host family or a room in shared Accommodation to help with the cost.
He is also looking for a part time job to help raise some funds to help fund this football experience.
Would you have any ideas on how best way to help with this.

Warning re Removal Lorry
You cannot matriculate (put on Spanish plates) a right hand drive commercial Vehicle here in Spain, so if you want to purchase the Vehicle to take back to the UK, then that’s fine, but if you want to use it here in Spain, then you only have 6 months use of it, it then has to be scrapped or taken out of the country. Of course you can continue to use it until the Guardia stop you, but remember you are not insured, even though you think you are. Look at your policy
“Vehicles must be road legal at all times”, after 6 months the Vehicle is not road legal.
The main reason you cannot matriculate the Vehicle is a vision problem,
imagine you are approaching a main road from the left on a road which is set at 45 degrees to the main road, there is no way you can see if any vehicles are approaching from the left when you are sat in the right hand driver’s seat. So if you want to buy it, go ahead, just be aware of the above. Lucy.

You do not need a UK address to sign the uk gov petitions (https://petition.parliament.uk) you just need to tick the box to confirm you are a British Citizen. M.M.

Sunday 8th January: GU!R! will play at the Axarquia Racing Club in Torrox Costa from 15:00h. What’s on Bread Workshop on Sunday 15th January

We will start with basic bread making techniques, and how to make the loaf that suits you and your lifestyle. We will also be making specialist breads such as soda bread, cheese bread and sourdough pancakes.
The workshop starts at 10.30 and finishes around 3.30
p.m. and includes all the ingredients, lunch in beautiful
surroundings and your folder of recipes, plus you get to
take your loaf home with you! Cost 30 euros.
The perfect day out for both experienced cooks looking for some new ideas or new cooks wanting to learn the basics.

New Rules for Blog
