Dog lost/abandoned 

This young dog was found wandering around Cortijos Romero, La Vinuela at the weekend.

She is very friendly and obviously is used to being with people.

We are now trying to trace her owners

She has not been checked as yet for a microchip.

Are there volunteer clean-up groups here on the Costa del Sol?

We read so much in the news about the seas/oceans being polluted with plastic and other detritus. In the USA and the UK there are many “adopt a stretch of beach/roadside” volunteer groups which devote time to cleaning up.

If anyone has a group doing similar here between Nerja and Malaga might they let us know through Digamextra?
On a sort of related issue: the UK is strong on recycling, so it sort of bugs me to see so much plastic, glass bottles and cardboard chucked into the general basura here in Spain when there are plastic, glass and cardboard recycling bins just a few feet away. It all ends up in landfill.  So many just don’t seem to care!
