Need legal advice – Urgently

Hello everyone, I hope that someone in Digame circles can help me.

I was denied a telephone account today because I seem to have been blacklisted financially (at least with telephone companies).

I resigned my telephone connection with Jazztel last lear, and was disconnected mid November. They were still taking money out of my bank in January so I blocked all payments. In addition to this the telephone company had the landline owner remove the landline so no other operator can provide ADSL service.

I know of another person who has the same companiy taking money 12 months after the account was closed.

Is there any method or form of redress or anyone who can help me restore my name and get back money taken from the account for which the company are not entitled to remove?

Any legal advice or possibilty of redress would be appreciated.

Best regards Harry (Nerja)

Pig & Dog

Herewith just one of many similar emails received today expressing the same opinion.   Subject now Closed. Editor

Good to read that they are not strays and that the are taken care of by the Spanish! So they are not all that bad.

Maybe it is good to ask around in the area before starting to write in this bad way about people.

I was apalled by how all Spanish were called in the first post of HW. And a little surprised that this was allowed in the blog.

Dogs on the beach
There seems to be confusion regarding dogs being allowed to be on the beach with there owners in winter…it used to be from Oct to April or May…..obviously not in the summer. But now police are saying they cannot be on there at all…..
So did it change?     Gordon

Recommendation –computer repair man

I’d recently a laptop that was very slow, and a guy called Peter has fixed this problem at a fair price. There was also a problem with my tablet, and that has he fixed too.

He works on no cure, no pay base. When he can’t fix the problem, you only have too pay the cost of fuel.

He is very kind, and a expert with internet, computers, navigation and satellites. He knows a lot, and gives a very good service. He can also look at distance through internet at your computer with Teamviewer, and can see and fix sometimes the problem of your computer.

You can reach him at: torroxcostarental @ hotmail.com.

About Denis Moriarty.  Denis Moriarty is a lecturer and Study Course director who spent most of his early working life as a BBC television producer. He was educated at Reading School, and after national service as an infantry officer in the Royal Berkshire regiment in Germany, read history at St John’s College, Oxford. He joined the BBC in 1959, and after a short period in radio and personnel, became a director and producer in television Music and Arts. His programmes included the series on English towns with Alec Clifton-Taylor, face the music with Joseph Cooper and Joyce Grenfell Timewatch series. He lectures widely for NADFAS, visiting many societies in the United Kingdom, on the continent, and in Australia; he also addresses meetings of the National Trust, English summer festivals, civic and literary societies. He has also worked in Egypt, Mexico and Latin America.

Denis Moriarty’s prime interests are music – he sang for a number of years in the Philharmonia Chorus – and architecture; he has a special love of England and its churches and enjoys long walks in the countryside. He is a keen opera and theatre-goer, and at university performed in plays and revue with among others, Dudley Moore. Denis Moriarty is a former Mayor of Henley-on-Thames and was twice a parliamentary candidate in the two general elections of 1974. He lives in central London.
