Services Available-Airport Pick-up & Drop off

I have seen a few people asking for this information and I have just been to the airport for a pick-up and drop-off, so this information is current.

Picking Up

There is a new parking lot next to the train station. This is called Arrivals First Class Parking Lot on the airport website.

Drive in like you are going to rental car return, but before making the turn, on the right is the train station, it is hard to get to across the white lines blocked out for the taxis, but go ahead. When I went there on two occasions in the past few weeks there were only 2 or 3 other cars parked in the lot, so I do not believe it has been advertised much. And, the sign is a bit misleading, in Spanish even harder… The sign I saw said something referencing only authorized cars, but go ahead and pull in and get a ticket at the gate. There is an exit at the other end on the left. The opening in the fence to the walkway is on the right and go around to the crosswalk under the bridge, but I cut across the driveway and walked out past the exit gate as I did not see the opening in the fence on the right. Take your ticket with you, and on return go the machines first and pay your fees, return to your car and exit. I was there about 45 minutes and paid 3,45 euros. Driving out is a bit confusing but follow the signs, exiting the driveway of the car park go right (you cannot turn left), go through the roundabout like you are going straight, there is a small sign to go right over a small bridge then you are on your way to exiting the airport.

What’s on-  June – Figure Drawing Workshop

with Artist  Steve Godfrey

On Wednesday 14th June, I am running another Figure Drawing workshop at the Viveros de Algarobo near Vinuela.
After the success of the previous session a few weeks ago, we now have another date. Once again, this is a great opportunity for any visual artist to brush up on their sketching skills or simply have a go at drawing a life model.

No previous experience is necessary, you can bring along any medium you wish but I would suggest paper as large as you can manage (on a board) and soft pencils and charcoal.
