Services Available – Simple Care Cards
For those who have simple care cards, Clinica Rincon Nerja now have a dermatologist surgeon.

I pay 33euro for consultation and that can include minor clinic surgery and for other surgery, its 15-20% discount. You can have a diagnosis on a Monday and have surgery on the Friday.
Discounts for seeing a doctor, dentist, even vets, there is a comprehensive list of health conditions and clinics. The card only costs 50euro per year and I first used the card the day after I bought it. You can also get a referral quicker to the health service here.

Services Available – Cruises from Malaga
We have done 5 Thomson/TUI cruises from Malaga – the last being 6 weeks ago on TUI Discovery 2 (the latest addition to the Thomson fleet) and yesterday we booked again for late October on the same ship. We are also booked on the TUI Discovery 1 sailing from Malaga to Southampton next May.
Your agent has given you incorrect information. You used to have to book flightless ‘cabin only’ cruises via the Thomson call centre but now can do this on-line at Cruises Only 2017 / 2018 | Thomson Cruises (scroll down to Malaga). Booking is a quick and easy process, the only problem being that, although the booking form accepts a Spanish address, for some reason it won’t take a Spanish phone number so we use a friends UK number them email our Spanish number to pretravelservices@thomson.co.uk who immediately amend the details on their computer. On your embarkation day you can join the ship at Malaga port any time from 10.30 onwards.
TUI have cruises out of Malaga until w/c 19th November this year and from March 2018. There were no planned Thomson cruises out of Malaga for Summer 2018 but it has just been announced that ‘Spirit’ will be sailing then – older, with a bit of faded grandeur, but a lovely ship and great crew (the crew are an asset on all Thomson/TUI cruises).

Why not join Lux Mundi, Torre del Mar and visit Gibraltar, a chance to take a cable car to the top of the Rock, see the unique Barbary Apes. Visit the upper Rock nature reserve, where you will find the historic tunnels dating from 1779-1783 and St. Michael’s Cave. Both of these have guided tours. In the town can be seen the Gibraltar Museum, Government House and in the southern area are key historical sites. All information may be obtained from the tourist office, or an excellent alternative way of seeing the sights is by hiring a taxi, whose drivers are very knowledgeable and will explain the interesting, historical life of the Rock.
