– The deadline for submitting applications for aid to renovate houses in Andalusia began on 17 October and will end on 30 June 2023. This is the time available to owners and communities to apply for a subsidy for the refurbishment of buildings and homes approved by the Andalusian Regional Government and charged to the Ecovivienda Plan.
– The budget for this aid comes from the European Next Generation funds and has 133.5 million euros, which will benefit more than 25,000 Andalusian families.
– Not just any work or reform will be eligible for this subsidy from the Andalusian government, but it is a measure that seeks to improve the energy efficiency of homes in our community. The amount of the aid can reach around 20,000 euros.
– What kind of modifications will allow to increase the energy efficiency of homes by at least 30%, which is what is required by the Junta de Andalucía to receive this subsidy? Improving insulation in facades and roofs, installing renewable energy systems such as photovoltaic panels, solar panels for hot water, aerothermal or biomass boilers, or changing windows or lighting systems.
– In addition, if the maximum amounts are reached, the projects may include measures to improve the accessibility of the building, such as the installation of lifts. The grants are compatible with each other, as long as they do not subsidise the same object.
– The programme for the rehabilitation of buildings, whether houses or blocks of flats, will receive 74 million euros. This programme subsidises between 40, 65 and 80 percent of the work, depending on the level of savings in non-renewable energy consumption achieved. The maximum amount is 18,800 euros per dwelling, as the subsidy can be for both the community of neighbours and for each single-family house. Half of the payment of this aid will be made in advance, i.e. at the start of the work.
– The programme to improve energy efficiency in housing will have 52 million euros in subsidies that can reach up to 40% of the total cost, with a maximum of 3,000 euros. In this case, it will also be necessary to certify a primary energy consumption saving of at least 30%.

Date set for the first private high-speed trains to operate between Malaga and Madrid:

‘World’s dirtiest man’ dies at 94 after first bath in over 60 years:
– An Iranian loner, also popularly known as the “dirtiest man in the world” for not taking a shower for more than half a century, passed away at the age of 94. The man named Amou Haji was afraid of water and had not bathed for over 60 years. He is reported to have died on October 23 (Sunday) in the village of Dejgah in Iran’s southern province of Fars. Haji was single and avoided taking a shower in the fear of “getting sick”, according to IRNA News. However, a few months ago, he was forced by the villagers to wash for the first time.

DGT’s major change to communications with companies and legal entities that comes into force on 1 November: {Translation}
– From 1 November, the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) will introduce an important change in the way it issues its notifications. The change will affect companies and legal entities, so, for the time being, other drivers will be able to ignore this measure.
– Specifically, from 1 November, the DGT will stop sending notifications – fines, appointments and other formalities – on paper to legal entities. In this way, the DEV subscription data will be accessible to the administrations in charge of traffic matters, which will notify electronically on their own platforms.
– But what is the Electronic Road Address (Dirección Electrónica Vial)? It is an electronic mailbox in which individuals can register to receive the communications and notifications that the DGT has to make telematically with the same legal effects as paper notifications. In the case of legal entities, registration is compulsory, as from 1 November they will only be notified electronically.
– One of the advantages of being registered in this mailbox is that users can stop having to change their address if, for example, they change their home or town. The DGT warns that those bodies that have not yet joined the DEV will continue to send notification of fines by post.
– Notification to the DEV is complemented with an e-mail notification and, if desired, also with an SMS to the mobile phone.
*How to register*
– According to the DGT on its website, the steps to follow to register with the DEV are very simple. A valid digital certificate is required and, as mentioned above, an e-mail address and a mobile phone number where you can receive notifications of pending notifications.
– If you do not register, a valid e-mail address will be assigned ex officio, where the relevant notifications will be sent. Remember that if you do not inform the DGT of an e-mail address or mobile phone number for this purpose, you will not receive notifications of the availability of traffic fine notifications.

– Twenty years ago, there was no Vithas Xanit International Hospital, nor CHIP, nor Quirónsalud Málaga. The first was inaugurated in December 2005; the Complejo Hospitalario Integral Privado (CHIP) opened in September 2009 (although its origin, the clinic La Encarnación, had already existed for almost four decades) and the third, in October of the same year. And since then they have not stopped growing. For its part, the HLA El Ángel Hospital has undergone a complete renovation of its building and technology. According to the OCU, the Repsol Tarifa ‘Largo Plazo’ can only be found via this link ( https://www.repsol.es/particulares/hogar/luz-y-gas/tarifas/tarifa-precio-fijo-largo-plazo/?_ga=2.3639664.1786282385.1661166160-916625165.1636463966 ), because the offer is actually hidden on the Repsol website. And for good reason, too. The Repsol tariff is among the best offers the market in terms of price per kWh consumed, although the power for off-peak time is a little more than some of the other offers on the list.

– From this week, almost 130,000 self-employed workers – the so called autónomos – in Malaga province can have extra protection. A new law coming in protects their home and other key assets in the event that things go wrong.

– The ‘Iberian exception’, which came into force on 15 June, limits the price of gas for electricity generation to an average of 48.8 euros per MWh for a period of twelve months, thus covering the coming winter, a period in which energy prices are more expensive.

– The leaders of France, Portugal and Spain said Thursday they have agreed to substitute a proposed gas pipeline connection between Iberia and France with an undersea “green energy corridor” that would eventually transport hydrogen.
– Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said the plan was to connect Iberia to France and the European energy market by means of a pipeline from Barcelona in Spain across the Mediterranean Sea to Marseille in France. Iryo, Spain’s new low-cost high-speed train company, is now selling tickets for Malaga and Seville in 2023:
– Spain’s new low-cost high-speed train operator, Iryo, will launch its Madrid-Barcelona service on 25 November with four return journeys a day, and tickets for its 2023 services are already on sale.
– Next to come into operation will be the Madrid-Valencia route, with a stop at Cuenca, which is scheduled to begin on 16 December, and in the first three months of next year travellers will be able to use Iryo trains between the Spanish capital and Seville, Malaga, Antequera and Cordoba. In June they will also start running to Alicante and Albacete.
– The tickets can be purchased from the Iryo website and the prices depend on dates and times, but there are options starting at 18 euros. In a statement, Iryo has reiterated that it is the only operator to offer flexible tickets which can be changed with no financial penalty. It says it will not only compete with other rail operators on price but also flexibility. Top cardiologist ties ‘unexpected’ deaths, collapses to COVID shot:
– A top London cardiologist who was one of the first to take the COVID-19 vaccine and promote it on British television is warning his colleagues and the public he has evidence tying the incidences around the world of “unexpected” cardiac events in otherwise healthy people to the COVID-19 vaccines.
– Dr. Aseem Malhotra made the statement in a video posted on Twitter ahead of his scheduled testimony Thursday to the British Parliament. “It is my duty and responsibility as a consultant cardiologist and public health campaigner to urgently inform doctors, patients and members of the public that the COVID mRNA vaccine has likely played a significant role of being a primary cause in all unexpected cardiac arrests, heart attacks, strokes, cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure since 2021, until proven otherwise,” he said.
– An internationally renowned expert in the prevention, diagnosis and management of heart disease, Malhotra is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and president of the Scientific Advisory Committee of The Public Health Collaboration. – In an interview, he explained that it was the sudden death of his very fit and healthy 73-year-old vaccinated father in July 2021 that prompted him to investigate the vaccines.

VW’s Dieselgate Update- Ruling annulling a “dieselgate” car purchase contract could lead to 700,000 lawsuits throughout Spain: {Translation}
