– Four years after its construction was finished, the Caminito del Rey visitor centre in Malaga provimce finally opened its doors after being officially inaugurated on Thursday 20 October by the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, the president of Malaga´s provincial authority, Francisco Salado, and the mayor of Ardales, Juan Alberto Naranjo, among others.
– Constructed on a 25,000 square metre plot located next to the MA-5403 Ardales-El Chorro road it has 240 parking spaces and a viewpoint overlooking the Conde de Guadalhorce reservoir. Self-employed to benefit from new law to protect their assets:
– From this week, almost 130,000 self-employed workers – the so called autónomos – in Malaga province can have extra protection. A new law coming in protects their home and other key assets in the event that things go wrong.
– The new law sets out the basic rules for protecting an autónomo’s home and assets. The text says the self-employed can protect their home as long as it is not valued at over 300,000 euros. And if the city they live in has over a million people, this rises to 450,000 euros.
– For assets, other than homes, not to be frozen when an autónomo runs up a debt, they need to have met basic requirements; to have registered it on the official register of assets, and the value of those assets cannot be greater than the volume of business in the last two years.
– Autónomos will need to make a list of their assets and be registered at the Registro Mercantil as Emprendedor de Responsabilidad Limitada.
– The new legislation is known as the Create and Grow Law (Ley Crea y Crece). Another, separate key feature is the ability for people to start a new limited company with just one euro of capital as opposed to the 3,000 euros now.

– This proves they review every message you send. And now they will also tell you when you are making “possibly offensive” replies before you send them.
– Meta-owned Instagram plans to introduce new features that will censor “offensive” direct messages (DMs) and Story replies and warn users before replying to comments that “could be offensive.”
– The feature that censors DM requests and Story replies that are deemed to be offensive is called “Hidden Words.” It was introduced last year but was only enabled when creators turned it on and only applied to DM requests. Instagram now plans to test automatically turning on Hidden Words for all creator accounts and expanding it to Story replies. This follows their “unsolicited nudes filter” implemented last year. It may be a good thing, but it means you have no expectation of privacy.
– Additionally, Instagram announced plans to expand its “nudges” that warn users when they’re replying to a comment that their reply “could be offensive.” These expanded nudges will be rolled out in the coming weeks and tell users to “set the tone by keeping your comment respectful” whenever they attempt to reply to a comment that Instagram’s systems have flagged as potentially offensive and whenever they send a message request to a creator. Microsoft Confirms “Misconfiguration” Led to 65,000+ Companies’ Data Leak:

Partial Eclipse of the Sun this October 25, visible from Spain, but not South of Valencia: {Translation}
– During the morning of Tuesday, October 25, it will be possible to observe a partial eclipse of the Sun of very low magnitude from the northeast of Spain.
– The eclipse will be visible in large parts of Europe, northern Africa and western Asia. It will start in the Atlantic ocean, near the coast of Iceland, and will end in the Indian ocean. Another “Cancel-Culture/#MeToo” Fail- US jury concludes Kevin Spacey did not molest actor Anthony Rapp in 1986:
– A jury concluded Tuesday that Kevin Spacey did not molest actor Anthony Rapp when Rapp was 14, while both were relatively unknown actors in Broadway plays in the 1980s.
– The verdict brings to a conclusion a trial that was an outgrowth of the #MeToo movement. Rapp, 50, and Spacey, 63, each testified over several days at the three-week trial. The lawsuit sought $40 million in damages.
– During her closing argument, Keller tried to suggest reasons for why Rapp would make up the encounter with Spacey, in which he said Spacey picked him up and briefly laid on top of him on a bed in his apartment. At the time, Rapp was 14 and Spacey was 26. (Some lawyer actually thought that insignificant event 37 years ago was worth $40Million today? He’s the one who should be going to jail! -Ed.)
– Spacey’s attorney said it was possible Rapp invented it based on his experience performing in “Precious Sons,” a play in which actor Ed Harris picks up Rapp’s character and lays on top of him, mistaking him briefly for his wife before discovering it is his son.

El Puente Christian Fellowship is a loving, multi-national, Bible believing community of Christ, who meet each Sunday at 11 am to worship The Lord. We enjoy a time of worship with contemporary songs and traditional hymns, and a message brought to us by one of the Elders or a visiting speaker.

St George’s Church Málaga: We are part of the Church of England in Spain covering the area from Torremolinos in the west to the outskirts of Nerja in the east and to the northern edge of Malaga province.
We have three worship centres, in Velez-Málaga, Málaga city and Salinas. Everyone is welcome to our Sunday services in English, and you can also contact us to enquire about baptisms, marriage blessings, funerals, and house blessings.
