Your questions answered by Ruth from Compare Funerals Spain
– Why should I have a funeral plan? Having been funeral planning for over 10 year I’ve experienced some very sad and upset families when nothing is in place. A Spanish funeral plans will ensure that all costs are covered for your funeral service. Getting a prepaid plan will help you feel assured that your family will not be under any financial strain when it comes to paying for your funeral. A plan also means you can have peace of mind that everything has been organised in advance, so your loved ones do not have to make any difficult decisions.
– Why choose Compare Funerals? There seems to be a gap in Spain between independent funeral directors, offering plans at a good price but lacking the security of an established Trust or ability to cover a client overseas and Providers who seem to charge more than necessary. We want to be right in the middle and offer the best of both worlds. Our best-priced plan is only 2,250€ and does the essentials.
– Can I do a payment plan? All our plans are payable in full or over up to 5 years interest FREE. The interest free periods are based on initial deposit. The higher the deposit the less your monthly repayments will be.
– Can I transfer the plan? The answer is YES. You could name 2 people on one plan however if you had a friend/family member pass away we can transfer the plan into a 3rd party’s name.
– What happens if I move? All our plans offer the equivalent service in Spain (including the islands), Portugal, Republic of Ireland and the UK. If you moved to the UK, we would transfer the plan to one of our many partners at no extra cost to you.
– Is paperwork included? Yes, your family will receive a death certificate in Spanish and an international certification in English. We also provide a cremation certificate that allows the ashes on board a plane.

Treason! Feijóo accuses Sánchez of deploying a “destabilizing” program to “disarm” the Nation, the Crown and the State: {Trans}
– The president of the PP and leader of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has accused the Government of Pedro Sánchez of promoting a “genuine destabilizing program that nobody has voted for” which, in his opinion, acts “against the Nation and against the State”, intends to replace the autonomous system with a “plurinationality of a confederal nature” and tries to delegitimize institutions such as the Crown, the Judiciary and the State Security Forces.
– During his speech this Tuesday in the town of Ribadeo in Lugo, Feijóo said, “We are suffering under a government that acts against the nation and the state, occupying it, degrading it, and disarming it,” he stated, before adding that the Executive has initiated, in his opinion, “a process of breaking down and rebuilding the 1978 constitutional system.”
– According to the leader of the opposition, Sánchez’s Executive intends to replace the constitutional autonomous state with another “plurinationality of a confederal character” through “a constitutional mutation through the back door” and has accused him of governing “without a social majority for it and without Parliament, without Budgets and abusing the royal decree law”.
– In his view, the consequences of this “authentic destabilizing program that nobody voted for” are threefold: increased polarization, the deterioration of institutions, and the “breakdown” of the system of legal guarantees. He also lamented that some ministers, referring to Transport Minister Óscar Puente, behave “like a bar-room brawler, insulting opponents and private citizens,” and condemned the “unprecedented” situation of “targeting the Crown.”

Socialist Censorship at work – The PSOE threatens by WhatsApp the officials who denounce the “shame” of the Government in Ceuta, “Delete that comment”: {Trans, summary}
– The PSOE leadership systematically uses WhatsApp and other internal channels to threaten officials who publicly denounce the “shame” of the Government’s handling of the Ceuta crisis. Militants who express criticism, even in private party chat groups, are ordered to “delete that comment” under threat of disciplinary sanctions.
– According to complaints verified by OKDIARIO, the pattern is consistent: a critical post appears on social media or in a militants’ chat, and a higher-ranking party colleague immediately contacts the author, invoking the PSOE Federal Statutes and warning that the comment could lead to disciplinary proceedings. The dissenter is told to retract swiftly or face “the consequences”. This intimidation extends to telephone calls and insults within group chats.
– Several victims confirm they deleted their posts after receiving multiple threatening calls. The cases of Ceuta deputies Melchor León and Sebastián Guerrero, who criticised the Government’s crisis response on social media, and were then instructed by PSOE superiors to delete the posts, illustrate the repression, but they are only the visible part of a wider crackdown. A socialist senator admits a “witch hunt” exists against any critic of Sánchez or his Government. By threatening officials with expulsion and silencing internal dissent, the PSOE conceals the true security and migration crisis in Ceuta, prioritising party discipline over honest admission of its weak and ineffective response.
– Quotes from the image below. “Sánchez’s appearance has been a genuine shame.” & “That comment is out of place and I ask you to remove it.”

IMMIGRATION IN SPAIN
Propaganda Alert! – Brussels issues deceptive endorsement regarding the return to Morocco of unaccompanied migrant minors who remain in Ceuta; distorts Spain’s position to put lipstick on a pig: {Trans}
– The European Commission defended this Tuesday that all migrants remaining illegally in Ceuta should be returned to Morocco, including unaccompanied foreign minors who crossed into the autonomous city, arguing that European Union law also provides for their return.
– “We continue to insist that the expectation is that all those who remain illegally in Ceuta be returned,” the Commission’s spokesperson for Internal Affairs, Markus Lammert, said at a press conference in Brussels, welcoming what he claimed was the Spanish Government’s statements that no one remaining illegally in Ceuta will be transferred to the Iberian Peninsula.
– Asked whether when he refers to “all” he also includes minors, overlooking the special protection afforded to them by Spanish law, he replied that “this is regulated by EU law” and that the Return Directive approved in June contains provisions for the return of migrants in an irregular situation, “including unaccompanied minors.”
“So this is also covered by EU law,” he added, insisting that the Commission’s expectation is that “all those who remain illegally in Ceuta be returned” and that Spanish and Moroccan authorities work to ensure that these returns take place “effectively.”
– {What Lammert conveniently omitted, however, was that the Spanish Government was simultaneously making concrete plans to transfer thousands of unaccompanied minors to the mainland within weeks, a fact he was fully aware of. By selectively quoting Spain’s statement on adult migrants and applying it to all migrants, including minors, he deliberately created the false impression that Spain had abandoned plans to move the children to the mainland, when in reality the opposite was true. -Ed.}
– After taking note of Morocco’s intention to facilitate the return of all unaccompanied foreign minors, Lammert reiterated Brussels’ offer to “facilitate and support” this process, and welcomed Spain’s announcement to increase reception capacity to address “the humanitarian situation” of irregular migrants. Police report that illegal Moroccan immigrants are kidnapping girls and raping them in packs in the mountains of Ceuta: {Trans, summary}
– National Police officers in Ceuta allege that illegal Moroccan immigrants abduct and gang-rape minors and women in mountain areas near the CETI centre. Perpetrators include unaccompanied minors and undocumented adults, mainly Moroccan and sub-Saharan. Victims are mostly girls and adolescents, often also Moroccan or sub-Saharan. The police union Jupol reports that many assaults go unreported due to victims’ fear, and arrests are far fewer than complaints. A recent case involved a gang assault on a minor in Avenida de Lisboa, with only one arrest; another sub-Saharan woman reported a similar attack the same day. Officers state such incidents occur daily, and Ceuta’s streets offer little safety.
– The Government, led by Pedro Sánchez, projects calm, and Minister Ana Redondo, speaking from a festival in Valladolid, claims minors are safe and cared for. This contradicts the many reports of violence and attacks against minors among the immigrants by police, health workers and neighbours, who in one area have documented that some thirty Moroccan girls, as young as 10, hide under parked police vehicles every night to escape attackers {pic}.
– Jupol accuses the Executive of concealing reality and warns of rapists and paedophiles at large. Most crimes occur in hillside camps near the CETI migrant assistance centre, leaving minors highly vulnerable, a situation official statements deny. The report, sourced to OkDiario, presents strong allegations but lacks independent verification or official response details beyond ministerial statements. DoctorLaptop’s Tips #124 – Is Your Computer Spying On You?
– Today’s PCs are no longer neutral tools, they’re infested with hidden AI agents, background telemetry, and digital snoops that track your every click, keystroke, and habit. That “helpful” assistant? It’s harvesting your data. That auto-update? It just installed another tracker.
– These intrusive programs aren’t just annoying, they’re a genuine security risk, creating backdoors, slowing performance, and exposing your personal files to unknown third parties. You didn’t sign up for this, but it came pre-installed anyway.
– Today’s AI infiltration goes far beyond obvious chatbots or virtual assistants. It’s baked into your operating system’s search functions, your browser’s autocomplete suggestions, your photo-editing software, and even your keyboard’s predictive text. Many of these tools run continuously in the background, analyzing your behavior, scanning your local files for “contextual insights,” and sending anonymized (but often re-identifiable) usage data back to corporate servers. What makes this especially insidious is that these AI modules are frequently bundled with routine updates, disguised as performance enhancements, or hidden inside terms of service you never read. They don’t just observe– they learn your routines, your writing style, your work patterns, and your personal interests, packaging that profile for targeted advertising, product development, or worse, third-party data brokers. Unlike traditional malware, these aren’t viruses you can easily scan for; they’re legitimate-looking system processes with deep kernel access, making them nearly invisible to the average user. And because they’re constantly evolving through machine learning, their behavior changes over time– sometimes in ways even their creators didn’t anticipate– creating unpredictable vulnerabilities that hackers can and do exploit. Without manual intervention, most users have no idea how many of these digital eavesdroppers are running at this very moment.
– A proper maintenance service doesn’t just clean your hard drive, it cleans out the eavesdroppers. I systematically identify and disable unauthorized AI tools (unless they are imbedded in an app or program you insist on keeping), block invasive telemetry, and lock down your privacy settings. I remove bloatware, and offer secure alternatives to risky programs.
– Don’t let your computer work for them. Let me restore your digital privacy, speed, and peace of mind. One thorough service and your PC works for you again. Book your clean-up today.
