Puppy Needs New Home

DoctorLaptop Windows Security Bulletin – QuickTime
Windows users who have the Apple QuickTime video player installed should uninstall it immediately.
Apple has ended all support for it, including security patches. QuickTime for Apple products is still supported. Also, Trend Micro has discovered two unpatched critical vulnerabilities in QuickTime for Windows, and Apple is not going to fix them. Windows 7 has supported .MOV files without needing QuickTime since 2009 so it won’t be missed in most cases. A handful of obscure or older applications may require QuickTime in order to work properly. If you use one of these it is time to find a modern alternative.
To uninstall QuickTime for Windows, click Start, open Control Panel, then click Programs and Features. Find QuickTime in the list of programs, right-click, then select Uninstall. Don’t be surprised if you get a scary-looking pop-up asking “Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes on this computer?” That’s just the QuickTime uninstaller. Click Yes, and QuickTime will be removed from your computer. Oddly, the program remains available for download from Apple’s website. Apparently, Apple thinks there will remain some users who just can’t live without it, even with these critical flaws. Read more:

Torrox Pueblo Conversion of Electricity Meters
Just had a letter saying all the houses this end of Torrox pueblo are going to have their meters replaced this summer, and we will need to allow the technicians access into our homes – going to be a major problem where the majority are holiday homes and nobody is home! !’ve just picked up a small leaflet form the town hall called ‘Cultura en primavera’ and things will be going on at Torrox theatre, but only in the exhibition room.
On 29 April there’s a homage to Salvador Rueda at 20.00 in the Multiple uses building Torrox costa with musical interludes, dancing singing, guitar and piano. At the exhibition room at the Theatre in Torrox on 19 May – 1 June there will be an exhibition of the famous long march/exodus from Malaga to Almeria of February 1937.
On 9 – 30 June there’s a photographic exhibition.
On 9th June at 20.30 El Barco de Papel drama at the theatre.
On 4th June it says Recinto de El Faro in the vicinity of the lighthouse, there will be 200 candles and a piano concert at midnight!!!(hope it’s not windy)

Wanted-BBQ Part
We use our barbecue a lot but it is in need of a little help. It has three thin metal angled plates that run just above the burners to prevent food fats dripping onto the gas jets. We need to find a local metal workshop where we can three replacements as the originals are now rusted out.
