It is important that your car is on Spanish plates and you have a Spanish address to which your Driving Licence is also registered. If DGT knows your address then they “should” send
the traffic violation ticket to that address. It is up to the driver to ensure that DGT have the correct address. Everything in Spain is registered with the NIE number.

Recommendation – Chimney Sweep
Firstly thank you to those who previously recommended Diego on DigameXtra. On your recommendation we contacted him to see if he covered our area as well. He did and carried out an excellent job at a very reasonable price, leaving everything spotlessly clean. Having identified a problem with the chimney construction he also repaired that for us, again at a very reasonable price. He speaks very good English too.

There is a Car Boot sale/market at El Pantano Restaurant car park, overlooking Lake Vinuela, on Sunday 5th March. 9.30am to 1.pm.
Easy to find on the A356 towards Colmenar.
Drive over the bridge crossing Lake Vinuela and the car park/bar is just ahead on the right hand side. Plenty of parking.
There are always bargains galore……….. old and new.

The restaurant has shaded terraces overlooking the lake and many customers sit and enjoy a coffee or a tapa and a drink and catch up with friends and acquaintances for a chat. Many even stay and choose lunch from the varied menu available.
Bar is open from 9.30am serving coffee/drinks/food.

What’s On – CAS Tex – Mex Evening March 11th
The Costa Animal Society is having a Tex-Mex evening on Saturday March 11th at Potters Bar, which is opposite the Flamenca Hotel. The text of the email should be what you’d like to see published – but note:

If your first attempt to sell fails, note that a second attempt will not be allowed unless the original price is reduced considerably, nor for at least 4 weeks later.
