Help with airport runs for Dog Refuge

Tail Torrox Dog Refuge is looking to recruit a pool of volunteers to help with taking dogs to the airport. You can be a driver or non driver and we provide the transport. Each airport trip requires two people, one to take the dog and the other to push the crate on the trolley. You generally need to spend about 30 minutes at the airport. Sometimes the times can be anti social ie early.

We have two dogs going this week, one on Friday leaving Torrox at 5am and the other on Sunday also at 5am.

Advice re Buying Secondhand Cars in Spain

I am hoping readers will be able to provide some advice on the requirements

and considerations when buying a second hand car in Spain.

I’ve heard anecdotes about needing to check it doesn’t have any fines

against it and that there is a transfer fee or re-registration fee.

Keen to make sure what we are letting ourselves in for and what we

need to allow for in the budget.

Our friendly groups meet not only to raise funds for and support the Royal British Legion in Spain, but also meet to be with friends and have some fun.

There are several days per week now when I have to spend over 5 hours processing submissions & readying our Blog for publication – that’s more than I want to cope with! hence the following advice……

Bars, Restaurants & Clubs –

Please limit your entries to One per Week!

I suggest you list your programme of events & send it Tues/ Weds for inclusion in the Thursday Issue.

Identification Information for Everyone

I will not be able to publish your entries unless you have included your name, location & contact information ( phone number &/or email address)

I had 8 (!) people email me today without this information. Unbelievable!

Faulty Submissions.

If I have time, I can email you to ask for corrections, extra info. etc. etc.

However, if I don’t have the time then your email will simply be deleted on

a daily basis along with all the others received that day.

The rules for Blogs have changed and it now means that I could face a fine if I publish any negative reviews of any person or company – even though it may be true or half true.
