My son got a terrible eye infection from swimming on Burriana beach, Nerja, years ago. The UK doctor immediately said, “have you been on holiday in Spain ?”
It seems nothing has changed – so what does a Blue flag Beach mean ?
Every afternoon the sea at Torre, Almayate, Benajarafe etc are full of brown scum, plastic waste and chicken feathers.
The mornings seem cleaner.
This is the Mediterranean it’s an enclosed sea therefore any waste disposal is just accumulation literally a dustbin
Spain depends on tourism -how come Malta for example is much cleaner ?

Services Needed- Removal Firm to Sweden?
We will shortly move all our belongings to Sweden and will be seeking a removals firm.
Does anyone know of any local removals companies that can take the job from Nerja to North Stockholm?
Job size: Approximately one small container load, packing, shipping and delivery.
There are loads of companies that will move to/from the UK, so there must be something going to Sweden?
Any recommendations?

Recommendation for Steven Rowle Animal Healing.
To all Digamites who have dogs or other animals, I would highly recommend Steven Rowle.
I have four dogs of mixed breeds that I was having difficulty with, in regards to their behaviour, despite spending fortunes on dog classes in the past and doing all the recommended things by so called experts.
I was very sceptical of Mr Rowle to start with and I could even have been a bit rude with my manner, but my darling wife insisted and he is recommended by Veterinary practices in the region.
This is without doubt a very talented man, he brought peace to me, my dogs and my wife, I cannot recommend him highly enough.

It’s really just an observation. (and endorsed by the Editor!)
Since saying you would only post items for sale with a value over 10€, people still seem to try and sell any old junk but with the 10€ price tag. Whilst I still enjoy reading the useful information and useful items for sale, I despair at items such as the ancient Video camera for sale “not sure if it’s working” hence the price of 20€. Surely they are joking. I just feel it lowers the tone of all your efforts. Such items are far better being given to a charity shop or just chucked out. I really wouldn’t have the cheek to sell broken furniture, TV’s that don’t quite work. Etc etc.
Not sure what the answer is, but maybe insist that items for sale should at least be in good working order. I think it would be a shame if dígame was reduced to the standards of a poor boot sale.
Anyway well done and I will still look forward to tomorrow’s issue.

Standardizing Ads for “Treatments” Advertised in DigameXtra
As of today, I will accept Ads for health professionals, therapies, medical treatments etc.etc. ONLY if the person concerned can provide a Licence Number to operate here in Spain in the text of the ad.
For Example:
“Services Offered, Physiotherapist, Tom Jones, lic. #12345, reg. with Madrid Board of Certified Physiotherapists”
This is perfect!
If a full name and license number is provided then readers can verify with the licence issuer the current qualifications of the submitter and see if they have received any disciplinary actions.
