Nerja Beaches

The problem is not with holes in the pipe-line. It is simply the fact that raw sewage is pumped out to sea and this is then washed backed to the shore by the tides. The authorities say that the force of the waves etc should break up the sewage but that doesn´t stop us frequently having filthy water. It is also affecting other beaches along the coast.
I am a beach person and I do check before I go in the water BUT I do not go in above my neck. Also I only use a beach that has showers so I can rinse off straight away and then have a good shower when I get home.

This has been a problem for many, many years and is already well known by Nerja’s visitors. Google ‘Nerja sea pollution’ and there are articles going back years from sites like Trip advisor, (the US and New Zealand versions as well) that talk about the state of the sea. The authorities are well aware of it and the possible damage to the tourist industry, but have not exactly rushed to build a water treatment works.

Services Needed – Defunct Coffee Maker Repair
We have Krups Nespresso coffee maker, which takes the capsules. It is
suddenly dead!
Does not respond to plugging in to the mains, the operating buttons on
top do not light up. There does not appear to be any way in which one
can open it up to see what might be wrong. The machine is about 5
years old. If anyone out there has any ideas as to what might be
wrong.

Recommendation- for Band Hire
Sol Souvenir is an acoustic duo, both play guitar and sing. I first saw them last year, at Cochran’s Irish Bar, playing to a packed house. One of the best gigs I attended in 2016. Now they are back in the area after a Winter away. I saw them recently at Busker’s Bar, Nerja. Another excellent gig.
I would highly recommend them if you are seeking some live entertainment for almost any type of event. Very reasonable rates. Perfect for weddings, reunions, parties, bar gigs, etc. Still young enough to exude boundless musical excitement, they are none-the-less both polished musicians and vocalists. They bring a small but strong, high quality PA system. They don’t require much space to set-up.
They have a long playlist covering Rock, Folk, Blues, Pop Classics. They are native Spanish speaking, but speak and sing in English. They do not use backing tracks. They do not use pitch correction. They do sing from the heart, and each show is unique, tailored to the situation.

Recommendation Needed – Car Valeting
Looking for recommendations for car valeting, inside and out.
Around the Sayalonga area, so Algarobbo to Competa. I recall services mentioned in the recent past but there no longer seems to be a searchable archive.
I may of course be being stupid but I can only seem to search each daily blog individually, and the old digame archive although searchable and categorized is well out of date.

As of today, I will accept Ads for health professionals, therapies, medical treatments etc.etc. ONLY if the person concerned can provide a Licence Number to operate here in Spain in the text of the ad.
For Example:
“Services Offered, Physiotherapist, Tom Jones, lic. #12345, reg. with Madrid Board of Certified Physiotherapists”
This is perfect!
If a full name and license number is provided then readers can verify with the licence issuer the current qualifications of the submitter and see if they have received any disciplinary actions.
