El Puente Christian Fellowship – Sunday Service

Covid Malaga- Malaga province leaves the coronavirus ‘extreme risk’ zone: The fifth wave of the coronavirus in Malaga is one step closer to being history, despite the fact that some of the data this Friday, 27 August is not all good news.

Researchers discover three supermassive black holes merging together in nearby universe: Supermassive black holes from three galaxies have been found merging together to form a triple active galactic nucleus, a compact region at the centre of a newly discovered galaxy that has a much-higher-than-normal luminosity, Indian scientists said.
The IIA team explains that if two galaxies collide, their black hole will also come closer by transferring the kinetic energy to the surrounding gas. The distance between the blackholes decreases with time until the separation is around a parsec (3.26 light-years). Three Ginger Kittens For Adoption: Torrox Costa. I care for a colony of cats. A new female arrived a few months ago and she was heavily pregnant and gave birth to three beautiful kittens. I am looking for homes for them rather than leave them on the streets to become homeless cats. All cats deserve a loving home and they will bring you a great deal of joy and pleasure.
They are beautiful kittens. All three are ginger but different shades and different tabby patterns. Two are female and one is a male and they would love a family of their own.
They all have names according to their colour and behaviour. Blaze is the male and he has large wide stripes with beautiful yellow eyes. Peach is a beauty and she has small ginger stripes and is feisty. Ruby is a beige colour, a little quieter than the others and is a bit shy. She is a colour which I have never seen before and is quite tiny in comparison to the others. They all love chilling in cardboard boxes and playing games with each other. They love one another.

Nerja’s “Summer in Los Cangrejos” programme of cultural shows: Next Wednesday, 1 September, the “Summer in Los Cangrejos” programme of cultural shows, which was postponed as a precautionary measure due to the spread of the coronavirus in the municipality, will begin.
It will begin with the screening of the Disney Pixar film Onward. This will be the 12th year that this beautiful white mountain village has hosted the Art Walk, with many international artists, sculptors and craftspeople exhibiting in their own homes, galleries or in municipal buildings.
You will get the chance to talk to the exhibitors about their motivation, inspiration and creative processes in their art, and of course to purchase pieces.
All spaces are within a manageable walking distance of each other (some steep roads, this is a mountain village), and can be viewed in one day.
As there will be a 2 hour break from 2.00pm – 4.00pm why not book a table at one of the many wonderful restaurants that are scattered throughout Cómpeta, or indeed make a weekend of it and book your own accommodation.
There will be live music on Saturday night in the main square and possibly other smaller musical events throughout the weekend.

An Asteroid has Been Discovered That Crosses Mercury’s Orbit:
Astronomers have spotted the fastest-ever asteroid orbiting Sun, and at times, it gets closer to the Sun than the planet Mercury.
Asteroid 2021 PH27 was discovered earlier this month, and it has the shortest orbital period of any known asteroid in the Solar System. The orbit of the approximately 1-kilometer-diameter asteroid brings it as close as 20 million kilometers (12 million miles or 0.13 au), from the Sun every 113 days.
The asteroid is so close to the Sun’s massive gravitational field, it experiences the largest general relativistic effects of any known Solar System object, the team said. At its closest point to the Sun, the object likely almost 500 degrees C (900 degrees F). That’s hot enough to melt lead.
Followup observations of this object reveals that it is on an unstable orbit, one that crosses the orbits of Mercury and Venus. This means, astronomers say, that within a few million years it will likely be destroyed in a collision with one of these planets or the Sun, or it will be ejected from its current position. Vetiver is a rapid growing and non-invasive sterile clump grass with a height of 1-2 metres and a root system of 3-4 metres in depth. We have been providing Vetiver throughout the EU for almost 10 years now. We are located in Sayalonga where we can plant year round but our best results by far start in February. The reason is that Vetiver is indigenous to India and Vetiver loves the heat of the summer. Use Vetiver cuttings as mulch around all of your fruit trees. Decomposing Vetiver improves soil quality, keeps the weeds down and the insects away all while helping to maintain soil moisture.
Vetiver is a nutritious and replenishable animal fodder. Horses and pigs love it. We use it in our chicken pens replacing hay because it stops mites.

-La Vuelta Cyclista to Spain will return to Torrox on Tuesday, August 24, in its tenth stage, traveling 190,2 km from Roquettes de Mar to Corner of Victory.

EU Member States Advised to Facilitate Entry Restrictions for Travellers From Parts of Spain (including Andalucia), Starting From This Week: The majority of the Spanish territory has gone from dark red into red in maps published weekly by the EU Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. The change in colour means that it is still unsafe to travel to Spain due to the current COVID-19 infection rates in this country, but yet, it is safer than last week. According to the EU common approach on travel measures, all Member States should require persons travelling from ‘dark red’ areas to take a pre-departure COVID-19 test and undergo quarantine upon arrival.

Rain Has Been Reported On Greenland’s Ice Sheet Summit For The First Time Ever: For the first time in recorded history, rain fell on and off for 13 hours on the highest point of Greenland’s ice sheet, 3,216 meters (10,551 feet) above sea level, on August 14. The rain lasted for several hours and air temperatures remained above freezing for about nine hours, as reported by the National Science Foundation’s Summit Station.
This is the third time in less than a decade, and the latest date in the year on record, where the temperature was above the freezing point of water and precipitation involved wet snow. Previous melting events took place in 2019 and 2012. Using ice core data, scientists have estimated the last melting event at the ice cap top took place in the late 1800s. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said clinical trial data shows the drug Ronapreve could help prevent infection, help resolve symptoms of severe COVID-19 infection and reduce the chances of hospitalisation.
