DigameXtra Summer Schedule: There will be no more Sunday editions for the remainder of the summer. Sunday editions will resume on the 2nd of September.
What’s On
Upcoming Fiestas:
-Virgen del Carmen: 15-16 July. Celebrated in towns along Andalucia’s coast. The Virgen del Carmen is the patron saint of fishermen. The statue is taken from her church in a procession through the streets of her town, and then goes around the harbour to bless the fishing boats.
-Historic Moros y Cristianos Battle and Benalaura Fair: The fair is the first week of August.The theatrical event is the first Sunday (Aug 5th). Re-creation of the medieval battle, Benalaura, Malaga.
-Competa Wine Festival: 15 Aug. is La Noche del Vino.
What’s Not On: The Los Amigos de Torrox, Wednesday Quiz Night is taking it’s annual Summer break for the months of July and August. We will be back on the Wednesday 5th September with all the usual quizmasters and maybe some new faces. Look forward to seeing you all then! Tel: 675 301 758
