Rogue Ads appearing in Digamextra- Solution  Over the last few weeks adverts have been appearing on the page. The ads that appeared on the pages I viewed were personalised – relating to web searches I carried out or web pages I had visited e.g. Worten, Novasol and Soundcloud.  On my phone they soon became an intrusion as they are large ads that take time to load within such a small reading area. Realising the ads had not been added by Digamextra I added Adblockplus – a free app – no more ads on Digame.   Regards,Gary

Services Needed Mobile Phone Reception – Solution I read your request on DigameXtra. We too had a number of issues re: mobile phone reception.  We asked for assistance via Digamextra but unfortunately all of the responses received were of a temporary nature and did not suit our long-term needs.  However, we remain grateful that people responded at all and thankful for having a temporary service as opposed to none at all.  I took some time to investigate the best possible, long-term solution for us and, thankfully, found one. I hope the information below helps. 1. Before buying anything download a free signal booster app to your mobile.  I downloaded 3 apps just to check different services e.g. Network Signal Booster (RealAppsMaker)  2. Once downloaded give the app(s) time to respond and find a signal.  Before downloading the app(s) I could detect no signal at all to an intermittent one bar.  With the app(s) I could get 2 steady bars.  I continued to monitor this over a couple of days just to make sure that the signal would remain and wasn’t weather-affected. 3. With a steady signal.  I could then investigate appropriate signal repeaters. 4.The repeater that would best suit our needs is below and from Amazon.es         https://www.amazon.es/dp/B01B1CU75I/ref=pe_3310721_185740151_TE_item Cost: 69,96€ The item was based in Velez-Malaga and arrived to our post office at Torrox Pueblo within 24 hours.I would recommend this seller.  We attempted to purchase the repeater on 2 previous, separate occasions (ebay and Light in the Box – both cheaper) on both occasions they cancelled the order the day it was to be delivered.  They were ‘supposed’ to be coming from Germany and Netherlands but both were being dispatched from China – had I known I would not have ordered them. N.B.: this repeater may not suit everyone. 5. One we unpacked the repeater and antennae we then had to find were the best signal would be located. 6. We plugged in the repeater and tied the antennae to a tall ladder and walked about the terrace till the signal was strong and consistent.  7.  We then climbed the ladder and attached the antennae to the roof – a low roof – so quite east to do.  It could also have been fitted to the side of the house. 8.    We now have an excellent mobile reception.

 

Recommendation Needed- Removal Company   Can you recommend a removal company in Nerja or Torrox Costa to move an elderly lady and her furniture and possessions next weekend ?   There is a company that advertise with you that take stuff back to the UK but can´t find their details.  Can you help please ?many thanks Angela  angiejrogers@  gmail.com  (no spaces)

It is time again to start our weekly watercolour painting classes on the nice terrace of Meson La Terraza, Calle Baja 80.    We paintevery Friday morning 10:30 – 13:00 beginning Sept. 29, beginners and more experienced painters are welcome. Painting on location will be included in the program (see photos), when we had a good time with the hanging umbrellas on the Plaza.  It’s only 10, – €  per session, but please bring your own materials.
