Easy Way to Shrink Pics: Photo submissions have a 1Mb size limit, no exceptions. Larger pics will not display in some reader’s emails and may cover other submissions, I certainly can’t allow that! Since we don’t want to exclude any readers from seeing content, submitters must follow this rule. You can easily shrink pics for free at this site. Just visit the website, browse to pic (step 1), then jump to step 4 and choose “Max file size” as 1000 Kilobytes, click resize button, then click “download to disk” to save the smaller pic to your computer. Games Afternoon – Fridays: Its that time of the week again. At Puerto Blanco Chine’s Bar Cafe Caleta de Velez, meeting every Friday from 11.30am onwards. Coraxalia international choir, new term just started: Do you like singing? Would you like to join a choir? We are inviting new singers to become members of the local, long-established choir, Coral Coraxalia under the leadership of Eusebio Pita. Great, friendly atmosphere, all nationalities, good repertoire, performances and concerts, social events, possible touring, etc. Rehearsals Thursdays 17.30 – 20.00 in the Casa Cultura on the main A7205 road at Viñuela village. Artists Workshop at Ruta de Frigiliana: This year the Ruta de Frigiliana extends over three days 5/6/7 October. On the Friday 5th and Sunday 7th October I will be holding a figure drawing workshop with a clothed model from 10.00 until 12.00 noon. There will be easels available but bring your own materials, drawing paper, charcoal, pastels, pencils etc. The charge for the session is 10 euro p.p.

Clinica Rincon/Sauld 101: In response to the question regarding Clinica Rincon changing hands we can confirm this is the case. We have been members of Salud 101 ( The Health Scheme which offers medical assistance at discounted rates) for a few years. We used to have the membership fee taken by direct debit every March. Salud 101 Update, Clinica Rincon: From our own experiences, I can thoroughly recommend membership of “Simple Care” to run alongsidethe Spanish National Health system as a top up. We have been members for several years now and the discount applied at the many clinics/dentists/physios etc. etc. is very good. Clinica Rincon is one of the associated clinics within the scheme. Our joint membership is 99 €uros per. annum. Renewal is always easy. Simple Care is based in Torrox. Help or advice with electricity supplier: Can anyone advise or recommend somewhere local to Competa where I’ll be able to increase my potentia with endesa which is proving remarkably difficult as I cannot access my online account anymore. Alternatively, I’m open to changing suppliers but would prefer to not incur the associated costs unless absolutely necessary. Has anyone had recent experience dealing with endesa in Nerja or is there a local contact who could assist with supplier changeover.
