Scoot needs a family.

 He is 4 years old, castrated has his passport, chip and vaccinations. He’s a well behaved dog, obedient and loving. He is good with children. He has never shown aggression. He loves other dogs and likes to play. All that we ask is that who ever adopts him gives him plenty of love and looks after him well.   Due to a change of work circumstances he is not getting the exercise a larger dog needs. Our old iPhone 4, black, has gone walkabout, getting itself lost somewhere between driving from our house in Canillas de Albaida at 13.45 on Tuesday (December 19th), parking the car in Competa main car park (Plaza Axarquia) and walking from there via Plaza Almijara to the El Pampano restaurant at Plaza Vendimia. Long Term Rental Needed-                                                                                               We’ve put the following onto Facebook pages for accommodation etc from everywhere from Motril to Rincón and everywhere in between, but had no response. Can anyone help? We do have specific requirements.                                      Our current rental contract ends in early March.   After Christmas, we shall be looking for a new home to rent in order to move at the beginning of February/March. We shall be downsizing in terms of space and cost, so we’ll be looking for a 2-3 bedroom house (or 2 beds and study area), probably in the campo, with a good-sized fitted kitchen as we both enjoy cooking. A pool isn’t necessary, but a/c would be appreciated – if not fitted now, then at least to sitting room and master bedroom, by next June. A fenced garden is important as we have 2 medium-sized dogs. Wanted – Plant Pots                                                                                                              I am looking to collect any unwanted plant pots from anyone looking to get rid of some you may have kicking around the garden. I’m going to grow tree seedlings in them, so preferably they need to be at least 10cm wide and 20cm tall. Anything larger would be fine. Don’t care what they look like or what they’re made of. Even if they are those ugly black plastic things you get from garden centres, they’ll do just fine for me. I’m hoping for between 10-20 of them, but will take more if you have them. Wanted- Welding Material I am looking for  welding material, free of charge, a welding post that is forgotten in a corner of your shed, protective glasses, gloves…. It is not for us but for a project in Africa (Senegal). In 2018 they are starting a “technical welding school” for “street boys” who live now begging on the streets.     In Africa everything is used to the last, after being welded a thousand times, so the welding workshops need schooled people. Advice Please  Re 5 year Grandson
Between 19th and 26 th December my 5 year old grandson will staying for Christmas in Torrox Costa with Grandmother . Please has anyone any ideas of how he can be entertained so he has a good time ? It s especially worrying if the weather is bad and we can’t play football on the beach !!!!!
It would be nice if he could maybe meet up with other children from different backgrounds .He also loves animals   Maybe other grandparents have a similar dilemma and would be interested in recommendations .

What’s on– Organic Christmas Market in Benajarafe   

Saturday 16th December: The organic and handicraft Christmas Market in Benajarafe is at Garden Centre Florymar this Saturday 16th December from 10:00h to 17:00h. Run by members of ECA (Eco Axarquia), a registered environmental conservation organisation, you’ll find lots of organic food stalls, including vegan and raw foods, a welcoming cafe and some exciting, original ideas for timely gifts from the many and varied handicraft stalls. There’ll be live music from Gram Russell and the Cantaremos Barbershop Choir and, when they’re not playing and singing, some background Christmas music to set the seasonal mood. Of course there will be the usual workshops and children’s activities and the fabulous garden centre to wander around.                                         Story telling with Berta La Despierta is at 12:00h followed by an ongoing art corner from 12:30h onwards. A recycled art workshop also begins at 12:30h as does face- painting fun. In addition there’ll be a demonstration of ceramic painting throughout the day.   The spectacular venue facing the beach and sea at Florymar Garden Centre is easy to find on the right hand side of the N-340 coast road coming out of Benajarafe from the Torre del Mar direction, immediately past a Cepsol fuel station.
