Pellet Stoves: It’s that time of year again and I put my film on Digamextra to help people know where to go for Pellet Stoves and Log burners. I recommend Tehisu in Velez Malaga – they have been very good over the years and I was so pleased with what they did for me I made this film. They are still on the poligono at Velez but have newer showrooms and many more stoves since the film was made. They supply the pellets as well. Universal Healthcare: There has been a very important change to the way healthcare from public funds is to be provided. This will now be based on residency (authorised or otherwise) instead of on citizenship as has been the case up to now. This new law does not change the administration of health cover for those in receipt of State pensions, overseas workers or those in employment. This change is due to a new Royal Decree which came into force on July 31. The various regions are somewhat dragging their heels implementing the RDL.
The Junta de Andalucia Health Ministry has been proactive returning direct debits from those on the Convenio Especial and registering these for healthcare under the new regulations. The best way to provide you with the information is via our Universal Healthcare FAQS.

The office is in Alhaurin, but they have vehicles and agents all along the coast. 2 hours later, a clean white van with a very sympathetic and professional young man came, quickly did the paperwork, and then took Ben away, handling him with due respect. They will also do Urns with ashes and so on. All that remained for me to do was drop the passport at the vet to have the microchip record cancelled. Missing cat, La Noria area: This grey tabby is chipped, has a passport and is fully vaccinated. He has not been home for a few weeks although has been seen around La Noria, I did put a blue collar on him but I think it has come off. If you have seen him please let me know; he is a big boy and has kidney problems so should be on a special diet. I suspect someone is feeding him a diet he prefers but which is not good for him!
