This is a StarGazing Session inside Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. Site is 1000 meters over the sea, in the road from San Pedro to Ronda. We will look nebulae, star clusters, galaxies and planets through our biggest telescope. Speech during the session is in spanish. For Sale: Motorcycle 2000 Aprilia Pegaso Cube 650cc taxed till next year, ITV till May next year and has 33000 kms on the clock. It has the usual bumps and scratches but generally quite tidy. I have a new set of brake pads to go with it and a top box. We are in Colmenar Malaga. I have stopped riding and the Insurance runs out in a couple of weeks so I want to sell it before I have to buy more insurance . Advice needed on transferring my Spanish property: Hello All. I am considering transferring my Spanish property into a UK Ltd Company. In the UK it is now possible to incorporate and transfer rental properties into a UK Ltd Co which avoids inheritance tax and also protects the properties against any claims if an offspring divorces. As my Spanish property would be classed as rental, I can also transfer this. So I am just wondering if anyone has done this, or can offer any advice or opinions ?

Wanted: Ginger Tea. Does anyone know where I can buy either Ginger Tea Bags (without the Orange or Lemon as I suffer from acid reflux!) or where I can buy the loose ginger in Torrox/Nerja? I stumbled on drinking Ginger Tea for my arthritis and back pain problems and have found it invaluable as a natural anti inflammable and have been able to give up taking painkiller drugs for the most part. I was buying them at Aldi but as with most things Aldi or Lidl, unless a regular line they run out and don’t get anymore in. Torrox Spanish History Group: The Torrox Spanish History Group enjoyed a very interesting and enjoyable visit to the Glass Museum on the 17th of June. As ever the guide was excellent. We then all went for tapas in the Plaza de la Merced.
The Torrox Spanish History Group is held on every first Tuesday of the month. Our next meeting will be on the 3rd of July. There will be a break in August because of the heat and also because many members return to their country of Origin for the summer months. So after July our next meeting will be on the 4th September 2018.

Our talk for July will be on the Romans. These talks are part of a series of talks on the Romans and cover the whole period when the Romans were in Iberia. The first talk on the Romans given in May covered the years 236 BC to 213 BC and included the war with the Carthaginians up to the relief by the Romans of Saguntum. In June I gave a talk on the Middle East before Islam and on the Life of Muhammad. This was in order to set the scene for my forth coming talks on the Arabs in Iberia.

The Phoenix Club:
-Trip to Gibraltar 6th July 2018 – The Phoenix Club are off on their next shopping trip to Gibraltar on Friday 6th July. A few seats available and children ride for ½ price. The price? €12pp includes a €1 gratuity for the driver.
-A visit to Benalmadena is planned on the 12th July. Plenty to see and do, take the cable car up the mountain, pick up a bargain or three at the local morning market, have a tasty fish ‘n chips lunch at the Halfway Inn, or people watch down at the Marina. How much? €12.50pp which includes a gratuity for the driver. Departs Algarrobo Lidl at 0900.
-Come and join us at for a fantastic evening trip to the annual Almunecar Fireworks on Wednesday 15th August. Price €12pp includes drivers gratuity. Bring 10 friends and come for €1! Returning at half past midnight.
-Join us in celebrating our 9th Birthday Dinner Dance at Maro Caves on the 29th September at 7 for 7.30. The price of €32pp includes a canapes and drinks on arrival and a 3 course meal with wine.
