A DigameXtra in Granada?
To the person enquiring about a Granada version of digamextra I live in that area and, as far as I am aware, there is none. However, as I mentioned in the digamextra review questionnaire, the suggestion is to expand the current version to include the Granada area.
Of course this is only going to happen if people contribute with adverts, what’s on, things to do etc. Life is very different here as opposed to the costa but there are still things going on (quiz nights, markets, dogs and cats needing homes etc.) and I’m sure there are plenty of things for sale and wanted. Digamextra is an excellent publication so, instead of a breakaway publication, why not make it bigger?

What’s on –The 3 Cultures Festival in Frigiliana
The Phoenix Club are off to celebrate the Festival of the 3 Cultures in Frigiliana which was created in 2006 by the local junta who wanted to promote the village as a quality tourist destination and created the annual event combining culture, music, cuisine and theatre in a celebration of the historic and rare co-existence of Christian, Jewish and Muslim traditions. The event now attracts thousands of people to Frigiliana and gets significantly bigger year on year.
The festival is centered around the main Plaza de las Tres Culturas in the centre of Frigiliana where over 150 stalls selling food, clothes and local produce all vie for attention. A large music concert with stage and seating takes place here each night with a late fireworks display and programs are available in English and Spanish. There is also a circus on friday night which has free entry.
Visitors will also encounter many medieval street performers and belly dancers, film screenings and craft workshops as they wander the streets from the Parque de Andalucia to the Plaza de Iglesia. Existing and pop-up restaurants design culturally-themed menus around each religion. There is a popular projector show at the San Antonio de Padua church celebrating the cultures with a slideshow of images against the white wall.

The text of the email should be what you’d like to see published – but note:

If your first attempt to sell fails, note that a second attempt will not be allowed unless the original price is reduced considerably, nor for at least 2 weeks later.

New Rules for Blog
