Hi, I am interested to know if there are any South Africans residing in the Axarquia region of Malaga, Spain.
I was born in South Africa and from Cape Town, now an Irish citizen recently moved to Spain from Ireland with my wife Marian.

World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – Raffle Prizes – Unclaimed
At our recent World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in Competa, we held an amazing selection of raffle prizes so kindly donated by local businesses; everything from a fully catered weekend away with accommodation, meals and guided walks for four persons at Finca Los Pinos donated by Competa Hikes to excellent wines and brandy.

Residencia Question
We have heard conflicting views on this subject and wondered if anyone with recent experience could clarify the situation.
My husband’s residencia was issued late 2011 in the form of an A4 size green sheet of paper- failing to renew on a previous occasion led to a charge of non-resident’s tax based on the value of our property.
My residencia on the other hand, issued in 2013 is a credit-card size document which I assumed was everlasting-neither documents show an expiry date. Does anyone have any clear direction?

What’s on – Wild Geese in Competa
The Wild Geese are playing in Plaza Almijara (main square, Competa) this coming Friday 7 October.
They are a 6 piece band playing a mix of Irish, country and rock with guitars, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, bodhran (Irish drum) and penny whistle, all the band sing.
This is a one off concert not to be missed and the weather forecast is good.

If you need appr. 3 – 4 cubic meter firewood, for your own use as a private person, you can have it for free.
It is olivetree and pinetree, and very dry. A motorsaw is needed.
It is situated on the top of Competa.
Must be taken away within a week or two.

Now reduced my as new 125 scooter 15 bhp I purchased new for cash new June 2015 from the kymco dealer in Caleta. Under warranty until June 2017 fully serviced only 2400 km. NO scratches marks etc.Back rest fitted extra,only selling as a ex biker I want a bigger cc machine. Only 5 euros tax a year and my fully comp insurance cost me 166 euros. Very good saving on new even though kymco have a winter sale the new one is 3399 plus 250 0n the road plus 100 for back rest 3749 euros.

Wanted – Mobility Riser Chair
I am looking for a chair for my friend who is struggling to get out of his armchair. He wants to try before he buys. We have been to “Blue Badge” shop but they only order them in when you have bought it. Does anyone know of a shop I could take him?

if it were a Contributor’s address I’d insert spaces thus –
janekirkspain @ gmail.com.
So all you do is remove those spaces before contacting a contributor.
New Rules for Blog
