Recommendation- Dashund transport

We recently had a small shipment of boxes transported from the UK to Competa by Andrew of Dashund Transport.

All of the boxes contained breakables and I am delighted to say that nothing was broken.

Andrew arrived exactly when he said he would, having rung a day or so before hand to confirm his arrival and delivery to our house in the campo of Competa was exactly a week later.

His quote was very reasonable and far cheaper than anyone else.

I cannot recommend him highly enough for friendliness and service.

What’s on– Warning: Air show in Torre del Mar!
If you are not a great fan of air shows, then stay away from Torre del Mar and surroundings this weekend. The noise of the jet figthers is deafening, and parking will be chaos (more that usual). Last year the police were very busy writing out fines all Sunday!

What’s On –Crafty Torrox Pueblo

This is a new crafts group run by Angie Coburn.

Angie has a first class honours degree a teaching qualification and 20 yrs experience.
We started last week with giant dream catchers. (See the pic)
Angie is open to all sorts of projects and happy to teach whatever the students want. Everyone welcome regardless of age or ability.
Tea and cake are served at the end of the crafting.
Fun to be had by all. Every Weds 5-7.
Costs 15-20 euro a session dependent on the topic.
