Warning re Pain Killers   A while ago Doctor Laptop sent us a warning on Digame, regarding some painkillers that were prescribed to him here in Spain and subsequently made him very ill.
The medication is banned in the UK, USA, Australia, Scandinavia and other European countries. It is particularly dangerous to Northern Europeans, reference www.costa-news.com 22.09.2016  the sun.co.uk 27.07 2016. My British friend was prescribed the drug only last week from the medical centre in La Vinuela and obtained the tablets at the pharmacia also in La Vinuela. My friend had no knowledge that the drugs are potentially lethal to Northern Europeans, but fortunately I had read Dr Laptop’s message . The drug is Metamizol which is also known as Nolotil, Dipyrone, Analgin and Novalgin and Melugin.
Take care to check all medication prescribed in Spain for your own safety.
