Two Puppies Need Homes this week
The two puppies you see in the pics, a brother and sister, have recently adopted us and we’d like to find homes for them.
However, there seems to be a glut of stray animals at the moment and none of our local shelters have room for them. Sadly, we can’t continue to foster them for much more than a week as we have travel plans. If we can’t find homes for them before then, we’ll have no choice but to let them back out on the street or drop them off at a perrera, which are both terrible options for them.
They are very sweet, have gained a bit of weight since the pics, great with children (including our own toddler, with whom they are very patient), and would make someone fine pets. For their sake, if anyone out there can take them, please let us know. Thanks.

Can anyone identify this rascal. Looking on websites, appears to be a form of Cranefly, Limonia flavipes, but the colours seem wrong.

I find the beer recipe has kept the ants off of my terrace… Still an odd one or two but nothing like it was before.. Also keeps everything else away too!!

Services Needed help with gas oven
My Technogas calor oven is not working – the gas supply is coming through well no problem there but after the oven is lit and the flame is apparent after you release the knob that you have been holding in for some minutes the flame will not stay in – I would be very grateful if someone could recommend a person to fix it for me – the grill and the rings on top all work. What’s on-Phoenix Cl ub to Gibraltar
The Phoenix Club are off on their next shopping trip to Gibraltar on Friday the 1st July and we have a few seats available.
We have pick ups at at the A1 Garden Centre, Torre del Mar bus station and finally at Algarrobo Lidl at 08.30. The bus is parked in Morrisons car park and we leave Gibraltar at 16.30. Due to visa restrictions on entering Gibraltar, please advise if you are a non EU citizen when you book. Also it is important to remember to bring with you your EHIC card, just in case, and passports are essential. On the way to Gibraltar we stop to spend a penny and for coffee.
Due to an increase in coach fares we have increased our prices by €1 and we would greatly appreciate if payment was made before the journey.
The price? €12pp includes a €1 gratuity for the driver. Children under 12 can join us for 1/2 price. Still the best value on the coast!
Early booking is recommended if you like a particular place, as seat numbers are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Plenty to see in Gibraltar apart from the shopping!

New Rules for Blog
