Dementia Support
The group ” Friends of Fernando” would be good for you.
It is a group for people suffering ” loss” in any way shape or form and people who have some time to ‘ give” to help others.
The first meeting is on 8th September, the ” team ” includes a psychologist, nurse and social worker and the start of a great team of supporters.

Lost Diary
I know this is a long shot but has anybody found a diary somewhere between Torrox Pueblo and the tunnel on the way to Nerja.
I was distracted doing something and left it on top of the car as we drove back to Nerja a week ago now

We shall be moving from Cómpeta to Los Romanes on 6 September and will need help in the form of men and van for the day. Not a full house load but possibly two trips, depending on the size of the van, as there’s a heavy sofa and very heavy keyboard plus bookshelves, freezer, etc.
Any recommendations/quotations gratefully received.
We shall also need some sturdy packing cases for books, DVDs, crockery, etc.

It´s a greasy spoon with culture and gourmet food, vegan and vegetarian. Carrmenita speaks Indonesian, Dutch, Spanish, and knows how to make what you like and keep it cheap, too. The rmenu del dia, including postre, are under €10.
You can ask for the Black Ader series on the TV and laugh your arse off while eating and enjoy spicy or whatever kind of spicy food you want.
It´s all fresh, healthy, creative, vegetarian and vegan. It´s the go to restaurante for new people, new and healthy food that tastes great.

Galleria Luz de la Vida is organizing a summer program, including an exhibition with Karin Hoogestegers paintings during the month of August. (August 4 – 27). Especially for Karin Hoogesteger fans who live in Spain, there is a chance to meet the artist on the spot:

Karin Hoogesteger will tell you more about her work in a so-called ‘artist-talk’.
Do you like to know more of how Karin works? She would like to invite you during this informal setting, to talk about art and celebrate this happening with her with a drink afterwards!
Dutch artist Frank Biemans makes beautiful glass objects and brought necklaces with glass parts. Christa Hillekamp is a German artist living already a long time in Competa. Since a short time she started to print her paintings on Dibond prints which makes a nice match with her warm colored images. Spanish artist Paz Sanz exhibits 2 ceramic sculptures. From Lieuwke Loth one can see bronze sculptures which are permanently exhibited in this gallery.

So all you do is remove those spaces before contacting a contributor.
New Rules for Blog
