Lost TAIL Dog- Rio Chillar – Carboot Areas  

TAIL Torrox lost one of its dogs during a walk towards the Rio Chillar in Nerja on Thursday 11th around 2pm.

This is little ‘Wispa’ who was born to my house cat six weeks ago. She is white with patches on head and tail, super cute! Very playful and human friendly!

Fireworks

The loud frightening bangs, that the Spanish  call fireworks, are usually set off around September 7 th. I believe it’s a tradition to do this , to celebrate the end of their harvest.  They also use to have small bonfires in the campo as well, but this is not so frequently done now, and there is certainly less fireworks now, compared to 15 yrs ago.

Dog Beach

Well done to Torre del Mar for opening a dog beach. Saw it in the news papers

on the internet and even YouTube but where is it and how to find it is the question.

Perhaps a small map would have been a good idea.

Can anyone advise where to look because I would love to take my dogs.

 

 

 

Services Needed –Urgent Help with Gas Supply

Cata gas hob injectors
I had a new gas hob fitted but I don’t think they fitted the correct injectors for a butane gas bottle as the flame is burning orange at the top and is leaving horrible thick layers of soot round the pans.  The rings aren’t burning correctly and there is a strong smell of gas.  The company are apparently on holiday in August so won’t come out and I am on holiday here for a month with my children. Can anyone please advise where I may be able to get some replacement injectors?

Services Needed- Fridge-Freezer not getting cold

We have an integrated Balay fridge/freezer.  The freezer is working OK but the upper fridge has now stopped getting cold.  We have turned it up to its highest setting, checked there is nothing blocking any holes at the back where the cold air comes in from the freezer.  Defrosted the freezer, pulled the whole unit out to check for blockages and did a general clean at the back and left unit unplugged for about an hour, all to  no avail.
Is it too late for the fridge/freezer to be repaired ie could there be a component for the fridge part that needs replacing or should we just get a new unit?  Any ideas anyone please.
