Speakers Needed for The Phoenix Club

The Phoenix Club, Torre del Mar are on the look out for Speakers to come along to one of our weekly meetings starting in October.
Do you have an interesting hobby or interest that you could entertain us with?  Or perhaps you are an Author, Nutritionist, Chiropodist, Reflexologist, Historian, Manicurist, Beauty therapist and would like to pop along and give us a talk or demonstration?  We would love to hear from you.
Concentration span is about 20 minutes!!
We are now taking bookings for Speakers from October onwards.
The club would be happy to pay reasonable travel expenses.

The Saga of the Folding Bikes Continues……

The number was valid but had omitted the UK dialing code (uk mobile number). The strange part was when you rang it you could hear background noises at the other end but no voice replied. I left a message on  a later unanswered call and was even rung back but the same weird thing occurred, all ambient sounds heard but no speaker !?

I’d like to highly recommend a good Spanish friend who can carry out all aspects of gardening and campo work. What’s on – 8km run – Archez – Sunday 9th Oct

Archez Town Hall and the Diputación de Málaga are hosting an 8km run to be held in Archez on Sunday 9th Oct. There will be a full day of activities including a run for children (starting at 10am), the 8km main event (starting at 11.30am), Aerobic and Zumba demonstrations, bouncy castle and other kids activities, plus food, music and DJ’s throughout the course of the day.  Entrance fee for the race is 5 euros for adults and 2 euros for children. There will be T-shirts for all race participants and trophies for the top 3. Kids can sign up in Archez Town Hall and adults need to enrol at www.fedatletismoandaluz.net

It will be a great day out for all the family whether you’re racing, jogging, walking or just coming along to support everyone!
