Help Please – Toby Needs a Home
                                                                                                               We have had Toby from when he was about 8 weeks old.                                                   We rescued him from the riverbed where he was born.
He is a very gentle natured happy dog and loves to be round people. We have a daughter who is 12 who he is great with and he adores to be cuddled. He is still quite timid though due to his age. He will be 2 in October.
He is 52cm from his shoulder to the floor and 65cm from his neck to the top of his tail. He has stopped growing so we think this is as big as he will get.
He has a passport. He is actually due his yearly vaccinations so I will send a copy when they have been done.
He is good on the leash when walking but still a little scatty and jumps when he sees his reflection in a window.
The reason we desperately need to rehome him is because of other dog who’s 5 has suddenly started to turn on him and recently he has become quite viscious towards Toby. As Toby is bigger we are worried that if he retaliated then one of them will get hurt.

Help Please – Eroski-Vodofone Advice Needed
Now that Eroski are discontinuing their mobile telephone service and handing it over to Vodafone, are there others having difficulty or success in completing the changeover procedure. Unfortunately my Spanish is very poor and no one at Eroski or Vodafone wants to speak any English although, apparently, I now have an ICCID number. Then Vodafone – I think – called me and gave me a 5 digit number but as it was all in Spanish, I have no idea what to do with this number. Can anyone help? Thank You Eddie Bryce

Should you need to see your doctor, or consultant at the hospital, you will need an interpreter. A lot of the doctors speak a little English, but they do prefer you to bring an interpreter with you. The risk of being misunderstood by him, or misunderstanding what is said to you is not worth taking. It saves the doctor valuable time, and you have someone who can help with any follow-up that is needed. ie; prescriptions, appointments in other hospitals, paperwork etc.

It’s on Calle Cristo 14 (where the post office is).                                                                                                                                       I’ve had this Peugeot a few years. and had a lot of work done over the last couple      of years. The tyres are in excellent condition, and there top quality Michelin           all round. The front lower wishbones have been replaced, as have the drop links, front brake discs and pads.It also has a new battery.                                                       It’s done around 360,000km, however,I had a problem with the Engine about 20,000km ago, and found a low mileage replacement, so the engine has only done around 76,000km total. I also had the diesel pump overhauled and new injectors fitted, as well as a new cambelt etc. The interior is partly boarded out already,          up to where the back seats fit. (see photo) Rear parking assists works nicely.

The car is in Nerja, and will have a new ITV on sale.

What’s on- Keith James Concert – Kitty Harri’s Sculpture Garden –             Following his most successful concert at the Garden last year, Keith James is returning at 4pm on April 7th for another solo performance, featuring songs of the late Leonard Cohen.
As there is limited space and seating for this concert please confirm your attendance. Please only confirm if you are sure to be able to attend as you may          end up preventing others from attending. We ask for a contribution of 10€.
When you arrive for the concert please park on the road and walk the 300m to the Garden as spaces nearby will be reserved for those with reduced mobility.

Join us for our Spanish Tapas Cookery Workshop on
Friday 23rd March at Casa Montes Negros, organic farm near Trapiche.
Using local and seasonal ingredients we will be exploring a variety of                      Spanish tapas dishes from all over Spain.
A fun day out for both experienced cooks and novices.                                                    Be prepared to get involved in the preparing of a delicious menu.

Black Handbag Lost – It is Urgent to Recover it   Help!
Could you please help with a neighbour of mine who has lost her                                    black handbag from the top of her car as she travelled from Fogerate,                             Canillas de Albaida to Torre del Mar.
She was on her way to pay some bills and had a large amount of                                      euros in her bag together with her passport and various papers in her name.            Her name is Inga Hilderbrandt.                                                                                                She needs her passport as she has a return ticket back to Germany                                on Thursday and needs it to travel. Does anyone know consumer rights in Spain re- returned goods.
I bought a Samsung galaxy tablet from Worten they have a 15day return policy        after 5 days I found a problem with the tablet and they would not accept the                Return as I did not have the packaging.
There was no indication this would be required on purchase and the staff                     were not helpful- in fact they were rude.
Does the store have to accept my tablet for exchange or otherwise?

Warning for people in Competa Area –                                                                                                                                                                                        Vicious Dog pic Dog owners please be aware.                                                            This afternoon in Plaza Almijara in Cómpeta an unaccompanied German Shepherd type dog, wearing a black collar, attacked one of my dogs whilst we were sitting outside at one of the cafes. The attack was unprovoked; my dog was sitting quietly beside me and was on a lead. She has sustained injuries to her neck which need veterinary treatment. Her situation could have been much worse if it had not been for the quick reactions of those around me in getting the dog to let go of her so please be vigilant if you see this dog……..also – The dog had already tried to attack two other dogs in the Plaza shortly before
