Scooter to Spain
I wonder if someone could advise me on how to get my 125cc scooter from London to Nerja. If I ride it down myself it’d probably take at least a week and the terrain and weather might be a bit ropey. My last resort will be to take it from Portsmouth to Bilbao on the ferry if it’s affordable then ride it down in the warmer months. Any suggestions welcomed.

Recommendation Sara Bright – Bouquet 
For the person seeking Sara Bright from Periana (but covers a much wider area) she has helped me on several occasions at extremely fair cost. Acting as a ‘Gestoria’ dealing with administrative bureaucracy on behalf of her many clients. She is also a translator for medical issues, car registration etc.
She has helped me with superfast efficiency both in my absence and accompanying me to various Municipal offices over issues with errors in my rates and rectified the name on my land registry documents etc. All things several solicitors failed to do at much greater cost. Trying to go it alone with limited Spanish was simply a waste of time! Can’t recommend her services more highly. Saturday night – Garry McCoy, Mitch France and Marsh Dixon are playing unplugged in the bar at Casa Paco in Competa from 9.00pm (ish).
What’s on Bar La Bodega Torrox Costa
The standard 5 euro of Beef, Chicken and Gammon Roasts are available with all the usual trimmings are available from 2pm Sunday and by popular demand we will serve Until 8pm, but This Must Be Booked on 617 506 550.
This Friday sees the Meat Raffle starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are only 1 euro each and lately we have been giving 25+ prizes, so come along and have a go.

Wanted – Help and advice needed
My phone refused to work yesterday afternoon when in the middle of trying to purchase yesterday’s ‘for sales’. I collected the TV – excellent, but couldn’t finalize the purchase of the brown sofa and exercise ball, having sadly missed the opportunity of the outside furniture. In the meantime, thanks for all the Digame help with finding a rental – got it! Yeah! On the track leading past the bins on the new roundabout on the Torrox-Frigiliana road.
Now I need garden furniture, a desk, good condition beds (don’t fancy the history of those provided), a combo microwave, a small fridge-freezer ….and some friends!
Where are the nearest Spanish lessons to Torrox pueblo?
Is there a nearby / near book club I could join?
Anyone fancy helping me install a fence to stop my dogs accessing the track outside my house or suggesting quick growing plants to disguise said fencing and help with pots to make the house a home? (small remunerate of course!)
