Flaw in PHP computer language leads to shutdown of websites worldwide: I am having trouble putting today’s issue together. Many websites have shutdown to protect themselves, others are malfunctioning or unable to update with today’s new articles. It is also causing all the AIs to act crazy- responding with lies and incorrect info, then making false excuses for malfunctioning. I’ll do my best to get a reasonable weekend issue posted. 9 Months Later Judge Finally Orders Black Box Analysis For Amaduz Train Wreck?: {Trans, summary}
– The judge who is handling the case of the Adamuz train accident, which on Sunday, January 18, caused the death of 46 people and left more than 120 injured, has summoned technicians from Iryo and Renfe, as well as from other companies and the judicial experts, for November 12, to carry out the procedure of access, deciphering and interpretation in court of the data contained in the legal recorders of the two trains, the black boxes. The PSOE is using the election campaign as an excuse not to hand over the list of hired lawyers to Judge Pedraz in the “sewers plot” investigation: {Trans, summary}
– The sewers case is Judge Santiago Pedraz’s National Court investigation into an alleged PSOE internal plot, headed by Santos Cerdán and Leire Díez, to neutralise judicial proceedings against PSOE party members using drug gangs to threaten judges.
– The PSOE has deployed successive delaying tactics to avoid supplying the required material the judge needs for the investigation. After the judge’s first order on 6 October for the complete list of law firms and lawyers contracted between 2021 and 2025, plus contracts, engagement letters and proof of services rendered, the party gave no reply to the court.
– When Pedraz repeated the demand with a strict 48-hour urgent deadline, the PSOE answered only by listing obstacles: the need to gather papers from every territory, the supposed reduction in its ability to respond quickly because of the election campaign, and the claim that the information would breach the privacy of people unconnected to the party. It further insists that releasing the documents would expose professional secrecy, defence strategies and the precise nature of the work done, and that it must first obtain an opinion from the General Council of the Legal Profession. The party also asserts it notified the Guardia Civil’s UCO unit on 19 October that collection was proving difficult, yet it never answered the judge directly.
– These successive excuses, raised only after repeated formal demands, function as a calculated strategy of obstruction that postpones scrutiny while the investigation continues. Source, Spanish: https://www.larazon.es/espana/psoe-escuda-campana-electoral…

SPANISH ELECTIONS
Felipe González announces in Malaga that he will cast a blank ballot: “I don’t see anything that represents me”: {Trans, summary}
– The former PM of Spain, Felipe González (PSOE, 1982-1996), announced this Thursday in Malaga that he will vote blank in the upcoming elections on November 29, considering that no political party represents his ideas. “It is a vote that explains what I feel, the lack of representation,” he said during his participation in a business colloquium held in the capital of Malaga.
– González, who has participated in a colloquium of the Business Circle of Malaga, has expressed his dissatisfaction with both the PSOE led by Pedro Sánchez and with the right-wing parties. Regarding the former, he has criticised their behaviour and the government’s management, while he has reproached his political opponents for their main objective being to “throw out Sánchez”, without presenting an alternative for the country. The “face to face” between Sánchez and Feijóo will be on November 16: {Trans, summary}
– The PSOE has agreed to participate in a “face-to-face” debate on a private television channel between the candidate of this party, Pedro Sánchez, and the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, for Monday, November 16, a date that the PP had previously accepted. Moncloa synchronizes all its “satellites” to ensure “there is no peace in the streets” and to place Vox at the center of the campaign: {Trans, summary}
– Moncloa (Presidential residence) is orchestrating a coordinated campaign to foment street tension, described as ensuring “there is no peace in the streets,” in order to place Santiago Abascal of Vox at the centre of the election campaign. Socialist sources admit this is “the only way Sánchez can beat Feijóo.” The strategy deploys Government Delegates, the party’s youth wing (Juventudes Socialistas), unions, allied civil associations and digital networks in implicit, and sometimes fully ordered, coordination across the national territory.
– The incidents in A Coruña during Abascal’s recent visit illustrate the intended model: Socialist youths joined protests alongside Galiza Nova, student unions and housing collectives, with the Government Delegation authorising overlapping events; the day ended in clashes, arrests and injuries. The party’s digital machinery, especially Instagram and TikTok, amplifies local protests into national confrontations, turning a local appearance into a national political story.
– This is a devious election ploy. The claim that tension is needed to “defend democracy” is a pretext to manipulate the electoral axis, weaken Feijóo (PP) and boost Vox’s prominence while disturbing the right’s internal debate. Territorial federations warn the tension may spiral out of control, with violence introducing unpredictable electoral consequences. Analysts express alarm at this manufactured conflict and are concerned that increased violence as the elections approach is the inevitable result.
{But this is what socialists & commies do, manipulate with threats and violence, now supercharged by the Internet and mobile devices. -Ed.}

The Socialists Are Blackmailing The Media To Ensure Sanchez Looks Good- The PSOE demands presenter Broncano give Sánchez a softball interview and warns him, “The future of the program depends on today”: {Trans, summary}
– The PSOE has sent a message to presenter David Broncano about the interview he will conduct with Pedro Sánchez this Thursday on TVE’s La Revuelta. The Socialists have shared a video of the presenter announcing the prime minister’s visit with the following message: “Let’s see, David, the future of the program depends on this interview.”
– This warning came hours after David Broncano announced that Pedro Sánchez will visit La Revuelta after the program invited all the candidates for the general elections of November 29. An invitation to which, according to the network, the leaders of other parties have not yet responded.
– It’s a threat to which the Popular Party has already responded on its X account, warning the presenter that it could “send him to Los Rochos,” referring to the drug-trafficking clan that the PSOE’s dirty tricks network used to intimidate Judge Beatriz Biedma in the “sewers case”.
– Everything suggests that, as has happened on other occasions on the public network with Silvia Intxaurrondo, Jesús Cintora and other journalists sympathetic to the Government, this will be a massage interview to pave the way for Sánchez on November 29.
– The early election call for November 29 has revealed — more than ever — a dynamic at TVE that is far from the neutrality required of a public television network. What should remain within the framework of entertainment has been transformed into a platform for implicit and explicit political positioning.
– Various reports auditing political balance in broadcasting, and manipulation of audiovisual regulatory agencies, have repeatedly reflected an imbalance in the presence of different political currents on TVE: while the theses and initiatives of the left-wing spectrum monopolize the vast majority of airtime and representation, the space given to right-wing positions is relegated to minimal and almost anecdotal proportions.

ANDALUCÍA
Andalusian unions formalize the call for a general strike on November 11th and urge people “not to resign themselves to precariousness”: {Trans, summary}
– The UGT and CCOO unions in Andalusia went to the Ministry of Employment, Business and Self-Employment of the Andalusian Regional Government this Thursday to formally present the call for a general strike on November 11. The mobilization’s main demands include access to decent housing, improved wages and the fight against the rising cost of living.
– “It is impossible for 70% of a salary to be used to pay for housing,” the union representative María del Mar Serrano pointed out, insisting that this reality is causing many people, despite having a job, to be unable to access decent living conditions. Washington orders US embassy staff, families to leave Saudi Arabia:
– Non-essential US embassy staff and their families have been ordered to leave Saudi Arabia amid deadly strikes by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis. Diplomatic sources say that US missions in other Gulf states will also be ordering family members to leave.
– Saudi Arabia has this month come under near-daily attacks from the Houthis, while Saudi-backed Yemeni government fighters battle the Houthis for control in Yemen.
– The US previously ordered non-essential staff to leave the Gulf ahead of the start of its war against Iran in late February and again in July before US President Donald Trump called off a new wave of strikes. Full article: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-10-22/us-diplomats-to-leave-saudi…

TECH
Another Internet Crisis– Rush is on to patch AI-discovered software vulnerability that could impact 70% of websites worldwide:
– Governments and corporations worked throughout the night on urgent security updates after the AI-assisted discovery of vulnerabilities in a programming language vital to 70% of websites globally. Many government sites appeared to be functioning normally Thursday, but outages or limited service continued while security work was under way.
– The FBI’s cyber division warned on Wednesday that the vulnerabilities could allow malicious actors to remotely execute code in the programming language, PHP, which powers websites and web applications. That raised the risk of sensitive data and networks being compromised, said the agency, which recommended that operators take websites offline if they can’t update them immediately.
– In Britain some “limited” government services may temporarily be offline while work is carried out to address potential cybersecurity issues, the prime minister’s office said. DoctorLaptop’s Tips #125 – Do some websites you visit display the “Page Unresponsive” error message?:
– You click on a link or bookmark, and an error message pops-up, blocking the site from opening. {Pic 1} This happens most frequently when the site is trying to collect data from your device to sell to its clients, and is prevented from doing so by your ad-blocker, VPN or browser. Brave browser in particular is famous for failing to open websites that want to scan you. Sometimes you don’t even get a error message, a blank page may just sit there and spin endlessly.
– Other times the webpage opens but is immediately blocked by an advert pop-up, telling you you must agree to view the advert. But when you agree, it stalls before it completes loading. It won’t load unless you let that ad provider also collect you data. See stalled loading meter in white circle in pic below. {Pics 2 & 3}
– These websites are so desperate for income they require a visitor to allow an instant scan of all your cookies, device specs, bookmarks and the list of all websites you have visited since you last “cleared your cookies”, among other things. This is sold to data vendors who collect and add it to your personal profile, that they sell to anyone who will pay. These are clear risks to your privacy and personal security- the very reasons we use ad-blockers and VPNs.
– If it happens on a website you pay to subscribe to, you should contact them and request a link to use that will allow your ad-blocker or VPN, or demand your money back. You already paid for access and gave them your email, them collecting more data to extract more money from your account is unconscionable, even if it is in the fine print of the User Agreement you agreed to but never bothered to look at.

FROM THE “WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY THINKING” DEPARTMENT
A museum removes an Egyptian mummy due to “lack of consent” from the deceased: {Trans, summary}
– In an unprecedented decision based on its new ethical standards, Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Gallery and Museum {pic} has removed the remains of an Egyptian mummy from its permanent exhibition, citing the absence of documented and informed consent from the deceased or his descendants.
– In the place that until now occupied by the mummy of the Egyptian priest identified as Nekht , the museum has placed an explicit sign for visitors which reads: “We have removed the human remains from this exhibition as a mark of respect.”
– The measure has not been limited to the priest’s body. The Scottish institution has removed from public view all the human remains that were part of the exhibit, including a mummified head, as well as a right hand and foot from the historic Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
– This decision follows the museum’s recent adherence, last June, to a new Code of Ethics for the local museum network. According to a statement made to the Glasgow Times by a spokesperson for Glasgow Life, the organization that manages the museum, the new regulations impose strict criteria on the display of ancestral remains: “The Glasgow Life museums’ human remains policy stipulates that human remains are displayed only when there is documented and informed consent from the deceased individual, or their descendants,” the spokesperson explained.
