What’s on-  @ Bar La Dama: Easter  Fun With                 Easter Egg Painting & Party FEAST. EAT, DRINK and have fun Easter eggs PAINTING ALL DAY on Saturday March 31st at La Dama, Algarrobo Costa, starting at 10 a.m. with a croissant, cava & fresh fruit brunch and Easter Egg PAINTING from 11 a.m. onward. At 1:30 the Easter lunch menu features a Belgian-style rabbit dish, and at 4:00 pm Spring Cake will be served. Easter dinner starts at 6:30 pm, followed by an evening of Dutch cheese tasting, wine, champagne, cocktails, Easter egg painting (picture or painting) and lots of fun.

What’s on –Singing for Pleasure Group                      The U3A Singing group is reforming after a year’s break.  This fun group is for anyone who enjoys singing for the sheer enjoyment of opening their lungs and singing for a couple of hours each month in convivial company.  We are not a choir and don’t perform in public, but get together once a month to sing our favourite songs including traditional, folk, pop, songs from the shows etc. All chosen by you, the participants.  All nationalities are welcome with their songs. What’s on-: Chiki’s Wednesday Cooking Classes           Our ‘’Canning’’ cooking class has attracted confusion since we mention that each participant will go home with their own preserved jar.  Where is the ‘’can’’ ¿? I have been asked…  Well, the term canning is an American term.  British English prefers to call this process ‘’preserving’’ food.  So on Wed. March 28, Antonio, Manager of Chiki BioRestaurant, will offer a cooking class for preserving vegetables in salt water and vinegar but participants can add or omit the salt as they please.  Starting promptly at11am, join us for an interesting food preserving class and meet other ‘’foodies’’ in the region.  And you’ll go home with a finished jar all of your own of veggie yummies.  Cost: 10€ per person.                       Important:  If you plan to join us please sign up no later than this  3/25 as the teacher needs to prepare the ingredients.  Future cooking classes will be announced so, watch this space!!  Chiki’s exact Location: As you face the sea, Chiki is on the beach to the left of the bridge between Algarrobo and Mezquitilla.  Chiki’s Webpage: www.chikibeachclub.com.  To register by March 23th, or for further information contact norma at: norma2kk @ aol.com. What’s on- Women and Weird Things’

This is an exhibition by Dutch artist Coby Bloemsma and its on for one more week. Until Friday the 30th of March in Calle Cristo 14 in Nerja, near the post office. This is a exhibition with a diverse range of paintings (mainly women)  and an interesting mix of jewellery and objects in paper maché and driftwood.  Open every day from 11-2 in the morning and 5.30 to 9 in the evening.                                        See more on www.cobybloemsma.com

IMPORTANT  the name of our choir   is “Coral Coraxalia”,  not to be confused with a recently established  different choir called  “Coral International Axarquía”
