Abandoned Cat Adopted!
Thanks to the power of Digame the abandoned tortoiseshell cat in
Torrox Pueblo has been adopted by a lovely new Spanish owner
from Competa.
Her tail is almost fixed so she is one lucky cat.

Rear quarter light was smashed and thief accessed the boot to
steal bags.

Rentals- Opinion
I think I speak on behalf of many property owners on the Costa del Sol.
For many years I have rented my apartment to cover the overheads and running costs. I have not been in the business of making a profit.
My actions have bought many visitors to the Costa who have supported the local ecomomy by spending in the shops, restaurants, bars, transport etc.
For my own use and for rental clients, I have scrupulously provided a well maintained and clean property which has also provided employment for local builders, renovators, cleaners, and maintainance services.
Initially the development of the property bought in resources to Spain and helped to build the infrastructure now available to the local residents.
The new rental laws are so demanding that many ordinary people will no longer offer their premises for rental.
A great loss to the Costa economy and my many Spanish friends who own businesses and who have benefitted from the influx of rental clients and my own regular visits.

Recommendation – Calcium Stain Treatment
Cal build up can be easily removed with agua fuerte unless you have a septic tank
Available at most supermarkets and Chinese bazaar stores.
Alternatively slowly pour a full can of coca cola into the bowl and leave overnight. When you see the result you will think twice about drinking the stuff Lol!

The bookings on our apartments in Nerja were doing very badly this
year until we downloaded Rob’s photos.
And now we are receiving almost continuous enquiries.
Can’t praise him or Digamextra enough.
Recommendation Needed
Could any kind Digamites recommend where to go to get :
- a) Repairs to a couple of the handles of our sliding doors? ( pic enclosed )
- b) Relacement strips for individual glass panels of the “Glass-Curtains” on our terrace?

All formatting, pretty colours, bold, underlining, strange fonts etc are automatically removed.
Please – Don’t use all Block CAPITALS LIKE THIS or I may have to send it back for you to put into normal case (This is the way people normally write, with capital letters where appropriate – such as “I” and place names “Malaga”, makers’ names such as “Electrolux”, days of the week “Monday”
You must include contact details, either an email address or a telephone number in the text. If you don’t I cannot publish it. Often I cannot “extract “your email address from the email, so repeat it please.
This is not a service for local companies to exploit.
The decision about what to publish is mine, if I don’t want to publish then I won’t.
About Photos and other attachments
If you want to send a picture please send it as an attachment to your email, in JPG or JPEG format and try and keep the size down to around 200KB.
Please don’t send PDFs or Word documents.
Your email address must be quoted in this forrmat…I insert spaces within the address so that nasty software can’t steal their address for spam purposes – e,g, my address is correctly janekirkspain@gmail,com
if it were a Contributor’s address I’d insert spaces thus –
janekirkspain @ gmail,com.
So all you do is remove those spaces before contacting a contributor.
New Rules for Blog
The rules for Blogs have changed and it now means that I could face a fine if I publish any negative reviews of any person or company – even though it may be true or half true.
